  4. How much weight did you lose in your first month? Here are my current stats. Wondering if this is normal to lose inches and not a lot of pounds. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  10. Thanks guys. I'm trying so hard to do all those things but frustrated when so many people are dropping like crazy at this point. I know we shouldn't compare our journeys to anyone else but it's hard not to! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Anyone else not losing weight? Surgery date was 6/20. I lost 8lbs and nothing more. So afraid I will be one of those who doesn't lose anything. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. It's been almost 3 weeks since my sleeve and I can't drop any more weight. I dropped 8lbs in the first week and not an ounce more. I'm following my plan like prescribed. I talked to my nutritionist yesterday and she said some people's bodies go into a starvation mode and makes it difficult to lose weight in the beginning. I'm beginning to give up hope and wonder if I did the wrong thing. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. My date was 6/20. I had eggs yesterday morning and they didn't sit well at all. I had horrible indigestion and gas pain from them. Thought they were going to come up for a while. Of course all our "pouches" respond differently. Hope it works out well for you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. How long did it take for you to start seeing a drop in weight? I'll be 2 weeks out on Monday and figured I would drop more than 2 lbs since surgery. Not only that, but clothes that were too loose before surgery and too tight now. It's frustration and discouraging. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. I've been on liquids since June 10th and will be until July 4th. (Surgery was 6/20) I'm not hungry but miss flavor. Tonight my family had pizza and I had a Protein shake, I wanted to just taste the pizza. Honestly thought about chewing on a bite and spitting it out, but didn't. 17. I have 5 and a drain tube. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  19. Was there a specific reason why you needed one or was that planned pre surgery? My surgical clinic uses one for one week on every patient. It's very uncomfortable and is slowing down my recovery ( in my opinion). Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. I currently have a drain. Surgery was 6/20 (Monday) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  21. With my hospital, I was required to have someone with me at all times. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  22. I have a drain tube that will be in until Monday. It has become sore and bruised at its entry point. Every time I move, i can feel it moving and tugging. I honestly feel like the drain tube is stalling my recovery. For the most part, all my other incisions are bare able and at times, I don't feel them at all. The tube is located right under my left rib cage. My underwear hit it and when I sit down my breast hit it. It's inconvenient and in a bad place. I think if it were out, i could put on clothes and get out of the house. Is anyone having a similar experience with a drain? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. I was offered coffee for all my meals while in the hospital. I just didn't chance it. Just craving an iced coffee so bad!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
