  1. I've had my lapband for 1 1/2 years. The port has hurt the entire time. I can't twist, bend over or have sex without it hurting. I want this out! Does anyone know a good lawyer?
  2. I have the same thing but sometimes it is very painful. I was banded in feb and sure hope it goes away. I cant wear a bra with wire and can hardly bend over without pain. Wismer
  3. I got my band in feb. and was doing OK until about three weeks ago. I twisted the wrong way and felt a stabbing pain like I pulled the port out of place. It was very sore for a week, then got better and I pulled it again yesterday. It hurts to bend over or sleep on my side. I sure hope this gets better.
  4. I am three months out and have had this problem too. It is better now but last month it felt like I pulled it out of place and I couldn't bend over without pain. It was hard to get comfortable in bed too. The dr. said give it time.
  5. Yes, a few days after surgery I broke out in hives all over and developed a yeast infection. I'm not sure what I was allergic to but the dr. gave me a shot of something(steroid?) and then I began taking Zyrtec and it went away. Good luck
  6. Thanks Sherry, I talked to my dr. and he said I was allergic to something. I'm taking benadryl and using cream and feelingbetter. When did you have your first soft food? Wismer
  7. Hi I just had surgery on Tuesday and it hasn't been as easy as I thought. Did anyone else have an allergic reaction and yeast infection post surgery. I am taking Benadryl (yuck) but still itch along with post-op pain. I can feel that there is something foreign in my abdomen. Is this common? Also, how long do I have to stay on clear liquids? Can I have strained cream soups? Wismer:mellow:
  8. I had surgury 5 days ago and I don't think I can make it on broth and sugar free jello much longer. Yesterday I had a shot glass of low-fat choc milk and it tasted great. I've read different things about when we can add creamed soups. What have you been told? Wismer
