I have got about a billion questions

In my experience I have tried to eat many of the things I loved before my surgery, but after a few bites of starches (which I, too, loved) I've had enough. The sick, full feeling you will get immediately stops you. I was always planning my next meal before I had finished the first and now I have to force myself to eat because I truly never feel hunger. New rny

Yes, it took me several days to get the gas out and then I felt amazing:) I'm two months out and just now becoming "normal". Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  5. I am the exact age, height and my starting weight was 268. I had bypass on March 22 and am currently at 225 as of today may 1. I am pretty active, but the biggest change is I never feel hungry, ever. I have to force myself to eat to get in the Protein and nutrients I need. Before, all I could think of was what and when I was going to eat next. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Week 3

I, too, am at 3 weeks and have stalled. I have been averaging about 65 Protein, definitely getting enough Water, and walk at least 6 miles per day and go to the gym three times a week for 40 minutes. My calorie intake has been no higher than 700 per day. I haven't lost a pound in about ten days:( Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Skipping ahead of myself

I highly recommend the unflavored Protein powder. It has been a lifesaver when the flavored ones start to taste too sickly sweet. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Skipping ahead of myself

I am 12 days post op and my doctor said I could try to ease soft foods in slowly. I tried a string cheese eating very slowly. I must have bitten off more than I should and I honestly thought I was going to die. I was in severe pain and burning up with nausea. I had to pull over while driving a half hour after and walk around until it passed. I am back to yogurt and shakes for awhile. It definitely made me not want to try anything more so soon.
