Mine asked about my childhood, if depressed or if had family history of it. Asked for me to explain Surgury to him to show my knowledge and understanding of what I'll be able to eat afterwards.

Got my eval scheduled for August. Should have all accept 6 month supervised diet/nutritionist visits done by then, November/December Surgury date hopefully

My surgeon won't do surgery unless I get my A1C down to 7

I'm in same boat as you. I think that as long as at the end of the 6 months you are the same weight you'll be ok. Ask your Nut. I have to call mine to see about doing a call in weight as they are 2+ hours away and my local Dr dosnt seem to know what I'm even talking about.

I have my first consult/surgeon consult next Friday. Very excited to start the process and know I'll have to jump through all sort of hoops, but am ready!
