  1. Since my surgery, I've lost quite a bit of weight. I never told my co-workers because I'm a private person, it's no one's business and they talk too much. Everyday they are critiquing and analyzing my appearance. I'm Hearing rumors that I've had weight loss surgery (even though I have, I never told them). That alone is quite annoying. I'm a very grown woman and my life is mine. I don't plan to talk about it with too many people. Does anyone else experience this? Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App
  2. Hey, don't feel bad. At least you recognized your downfall and you're able to put yourself back on track. I'm 4 months post op. The past, I'd say, 2 weeks I've slipped into a few old bad habits myself. I was snacking on trail mix that has sesame sticks and rice crackers in it. It's good but I'm sure they have lots of carbs. I also have had a few chocolate chip Cookies which is definitely not in the plan. I've lost only one pound each week which upsets me but its my own fault. This week I'm getting it back together again. I'm going to incorporate more fruits and eat Soup. They tend to work better and they work better with my sleeve. I never drink enough Water and that bothers me. I really try but the desire for it is just not there. I like the drink mix ins but they have aspartame which isn't good to consume. I do get my protein in really good due to Premier Protein. I find it to be the better one for me. I wish you the best and you can do this. Lets stay on course!!! 4. I don't eat processed meat and not rice too often. Just the past 2 days. I only eat brown rice though. I'm not sure if that matters. I'm not making excuses. I really hope that my weight loss picks up. Thank you all again. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App
  5. I'm from the North Dallas area near Plano. I was sleeved on March 21st, 2016 by Dr. Colleen Kennedy at Baylor Scott White in Plano. Excellent doctor! Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App
  6. Thank you guys. I typically don't eat that everyday. I should've said that earlier. I just had the brown rice and toast on today and yesterday. I'm not a big meat Water. I definitely do t eat pork or seafood. I'm strictly chicken or turkey. I do eat trail mix kind of often. I will have to incorporate more green vegetables. I do forget about those. I have to do better. Do you or anyone happen to know if the doctor would give an xray or upper GI upon request of I wanted to know if I've stretched my stomach? 7. I am 4 months post op. I can eat pretty much any kind of good within moderation. I'm still figuring out what works with my sleeve. I'm wondering is it possible that I have stretched my stomach. I don't think that I over eat. I drink one premiere Protein drink in the morning, I drink a bottle of Water (with crystal light), sometimes before lunch I will snack with some trail mix or some occasional chips (approximately a cup full), for lunch I will eat either 4ounces of cottage cheese, Soup or chicken salad, then I'll have a snack again, another Protein Drink and dinner is pretty much the same as lunch. There are times when I will eat a spoonful of rice, a spoonful of scrambled eggs, a half of a sausage patty and one forth of a piece of toast. I consider that meal large now. If I'm feeling like the food that I've eaten is just underneath my sternum, is that considered packed and stretching my stomach, is it that I'm full or have I had just enough? Can anyone answer these questions for me? Am I eating too much? I'm currently only losing like 1 or 2 pounds each week which seems really slow now. Can you stretch your stomach just 4 months after surgery? I need help!! Thanks in advance for anything that you can help with!!! Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

  12. Has anyone experienced a stall for the first time post op and then begin to lose weight at a slow pace? In afraid that my sleeve may have ran its course early in the race. I was sleeved on March 21st and I've only lost 43 pounds. I feel I should've lost more by now. Shouldn't I be losing at least 5 pounds per week? I don't eat a lot and I'm trying to get as much liquid as possible. Anyone have any suggestions or advice? PLEASE!! Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

  15. Oh wow, I thought this was just isolated to me only! I stay cold ever since I had my surgery. I live in Texas and just the other day it was 96 degrees and I was thankful to feel the heat while others complained. I wonder will this be forever. I kind of don't mind sometimes. But when I go to bed, I have on socks, a gown, a robe and 2 blankets and a comforter and I'm still cold. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

  23. Maybe so. Ok. Another thing that really made me wonder is because my supervisor came back to work, 3 weeks post op, eating Sonic's Little Chickies, Chili's and Wendy's. Although she couldn't eat a lot of it, it's still the caloric intake and bad for you. I'm like wow, really!!?? Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App
