  4. Similar story on my end. I started in 2014 too I actually got approved very quickly then the same week I got approved I found out I pregnant with our little surprise lol so obviously I had to postpone. Then started back in February then insurance didn't take my other surgeon out of net work and now I'm starting with Ewing they were recommended and in my plan. Thanks for the words of wisdom. Lol good luck tomorrow. You will do wonderful! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  6. OMG! I'm so happy to have found you lol! I started the process and then had an insurance change and had to switch surgeons. So now I'm going to their practice. Most of my stuff should transfer right over and I shouldn't have to start from scratch. I go tonight to the seminar. How long did it take you to get a surgery date from when you went to the seminar. Best of luck to you tomorrow. You'll do fantastic! I can't wait to hear from you on the sleeve side lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I read some doctors don't require it because the amount of liver shrinkage isn't all that to significant. I would def ask your surgeon about the laxative thing. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  21. I had originally started the process 2 years ago. I was all approved by insurance and then found out I was pregnant (total surprise unplanned) so obviously I had to hold off. My approval was good until right after I had the baby but I didn't want to Rush another surgery fresh out of pregnancy with a newborn. So my approval expired and my insurance has since changed. I went back to the same surgeon I was approved for last time I did my NUT and psych eval and now I find out my insurance doesn't cover this particular surgeon. So now I go this week to a seminar with a new group that's covered under my plan and now hopefully I can get this going with out any more set back. My husband will be taking some time off to help with the kids and my mom as well. I just have to make myself used to getting help and not Over doing it with the kids until I'm fully healed.
