  1. Hi all. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm 7 days post op. And I'm feeling so much better. Definitely doing better with my liquids. It does get better with time. But Im definitely looking forward for puréed for next week. My program does require at least 2 weeks of liquid but I did try a little bit of plain mashed potatoes today. So far so good Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  3. Hi All. I had surgery 10/17. Still bloated. I was doing okay until just a few minutes ago. I fell a little dizzy and weak so I lied down a bit and my mom diluted some apple sauce with Water which really helped me but I'm still so hungry. I'm trying my best to be hydrated but I'm so tired of this liquid diet. I still haven't reach a day with 64oz. FYI i still haven't started my Protein shake until I get them tomorrow .i don't see my dr until Wednesday. And I believe I start puréed next week. (2 week after surgery) but I can't wait. Any advice? 5. Hi all. Just had my bypass on Monday morning 10/17. I'm checking my Water intake log. I know I should be drink 64 oz per day but it seems I doing just about half with water, crystal lite, Powerade and Popsicle. I feel really bloated and minimal pain. Should I be worry? 10. Hi KristenLe. Yes. I totally understand. Second day of pre-op. Did much better. Having all the clear liquid I can and keeping myself busy unpacking and organizing the new place. Seems to help distracting me from wanting to eat. Its not easy but I keep reassuring myself is going to be all worth. Looking forward to a healthy life. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Surgery date 10/17. Started my 5 day liquid diet today. But I just cheated with some garlic bread and cheese. I feel awful. Any advice? Would that affect my surgery? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. Hey folks. I was given my surgery date 10/17/2016 last week. Super excited but a bit worry now. Waiting on my final insurance( NYC HEALTHFIRST) approval as well. Just had my medical clearance appointment today and was told my EKG showed an incomplete right bundle branch block and my labs showed low Iron deficiency as well.So I was immediately scheduled to see a cardiologist this Tuesday. It's been a long journey and I know it's just the beginning but I'm really worried that it's a new setback. Please any advice?
