  2. so 1 week later they finally resubmitted for insurance approval....so now my wait begins.....AGAIN Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  3. I am at that point. If I do not hear something by tomorrow I will be at that office and it won't be pretty.
  4. That is exactly how I feel.
  5. i have called. i have emailed. i have faxed. and i have messaged over the web access and noone from the office will get back to me. The submission to insurance still shows as incomplete....I really hate the silent treatment along with the waiting game. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  6. I hope so...once they figure out how to submit it properly Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  7. I know I had called and got 4 different answers. I made them pull up the policy and laugged as they read it to me only to tell me what I already know. Didnt matter my surgeons office says if it says 3 months is recommended the we are going to require it. Now they have an incomplete insurance auth submission claiming they are waiting on a report from a biopsy i didnt have because everything looked good during my endoscopy.. he didnt want to take a sample if nothing looked off. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  8. It may just be. I just fear having to start over Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  9. I was still doing monthly visits while i fought with the surgeons office so I just finished my 3rd month. niw they screwed up the submission for authorization. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  10. Still working on getting my surgeon to submit for authorization. Last hoop....check. Such a draining process, but I try to tell myself they make you go through everything to weed out the weak and make sure that they truly dedicated ones push through.
  11. Good luck, I thought I was submitted on April 13th only to find out the submission was incomplete and when I called the surgeons office I was given the run around about waiting on results from some test that NEVER happened and I did not need because my endoscopy was totally normal. UGH
  12. So come to find out the surgeons office submitted a referral. However, it is incomplete. The referral dept at my insurance says they forgot to put in a code and a location. When I asked the surgeons office they said they are waiting on pathology results from a biopsy from the endoscopy. The gastroenterology office says that my endoscopy results were normal and no biopsy was taken as it wasn't needed. AND they Endoscopy results were faxed to the surgeons office stating those results. So moral of the story...they are waiting on something that they will never get because it didn't happen and I have to sit here and wait for....well nothing. I am beyond frustrated as I have done EVERYTHING that I can possibly do to get this referral process started. If I could submit for my own authorization I would.
  13. I had my Endoscopy on the 12th and now waiting for insurance submission. I can't believe this could be happening by next month. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  14. its ridiculous thatbthey can be so rude...this is already a tough process for us and now we have to fight them too Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  15. It is so exciting getting so close. I finished 3 of 3 appointments, all the surgeon requirements and they are now submitting for insurance approval. It is so difficult to be at the point there is literally NOTHING else I need to do, it is all in someone else's hands. Good luck and keep us all posted
  16. So I see the Referral in my Health Records on line. However, It shows "incomplete" as the status. I am so anxious...I think I have looked it up 7 times just today to see if the status changed...lol.
  17. That's great and very fast. Congrats
  18. That's great. I hope I have the same luck.
  19. I have completed ALL of my requirements and have turned everything into the surgeons office. He says now they have to put a packet together to submit for insurance approval. How long does it take for them to submit? I know they have to put the best possible packet together for the highest chance of approval. However, I have very little faith in my surgeons office staff as they are pretty slow on EVERYTHING. What did others experience? I know I have to wait for insurance to approve, I just hope I don't have to wait a very long time for them to submit.
  20. So do u have 6 months and cant lose too much? It sucks that we have to play a game..like we will be pubished for losing too much Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  21. they haven't made me do the sleep study..thank goodness cause my husband would swear I have sleep apnea..but i dont want another thing to hold my surgery up. i have an endoscopy this week and then 1 more weigh in on the 12th.. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  22. How do you get on an EXPEDITED case?
  23. It seems like they have your life in their hands and they aren't as anxious to get this done as we are. This is why I like the doctors that give a tentative date once everything is complete (pending insurance approval), instead of waiting until after approval to start scheduling. Not that I have that kind of doctor....but I wish I did.
  24. I know they want all the requirements completed so they can submit to insurance with the best possible outcome....however, I do not have faith that this particular person will be putting in much effort on my account Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
