  1. Day #5... [emoji107]????
  2. Liquid diet is fun. Not.
  3. the answer is "not enough to make you not eat it one last time"
  4. I'm in the same boat... Starting liquid diet on the 6th (I hope everyone is ready to meet the biggest jerk in the world) 13th pre-op (I should be good and angry by then for sure) 20th surgery Good luck!
  5. I'm going to try this
  6. Proud to be a loser !
  7. You have to be annoying I called my insurance and wasn't approved, the next day I was approved and 2 days later got my date
  8. 6/20 [emoji15][emoji15]
  9. My boss tried to talk me out of it, said I should just adjust my diet... Oh ok.
  10. Just another person that didn't deserve insurance to pay for their surgery. Just sayin.
  11. Waiting for a date...
  12. Hopefully I get the approval and get in the first week of June. All surgeries are done on Mondays for my doctor .... I'm optimistic. Good luck
  13. Awesome. I got the "still pending" "missing paperwork" answer when I called today so I'm realllllly mad.
  14. While my weight gain has affected my health some, and my family life more (mostly through extreme laziness), I definitely agree that my weight is negatively impacting my work as well. As far as time off, I have the kind of job that it's almost not even worth taking a few days off because you walk back in to all sorts of issues and problems... So taking time off to heal 3/4 weeks is scary in my case, but I don't want to rush back either after the surgery and risk a problem from, for example, lifting something heavy because I forgot I couldn't yet - for that split second... Ahhhhhhh!
  15. I went back and forth, but then I realized how hard it is to breathe, fit in some chairs, fly comfortably, and I look like total **** in photos.
  16. As soon as I mentioned I am seeking another doctor, everything started to go right, to some degree. They have a potential 60-100K surgery on their hands and are afraid to lose it. They also want to space them out to keep the continuous flow of cash coming in. After all, It's a business.
  17. I have been jerked around by my doctors office for 6 months. I feel your pain.
  18. I am very close to getting it and considered backing out... But to pros outweigh the cons 100-fold
  19. I miss AOL chat rooms.
  20. I just had this happen to me: First visit ended up counting as a consult and I had to do a 7th month. GHI
  21. Yeah, I would just tell him. Either he will accept it, or not, and who really cares either way.
