  1. @@UalreadyKnow I know this sounds cliche, but it's true...if I can do it, you can too. The last time I weighed in the 100's was when I was around 17, and I'm 40 now! I honestly never believed my body was even capable of weighing this again! I can't wait for your post when you get here too!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. As of yesterday, I have lost 134lbs and now weigh under 200lbs!! I had my surgery January 11. Start weight was 333.1 Yesterday's weight 199.1 As someone who has spent the majority of my adult life weighing well over 300lbs, this is a huge accomplishment for me. I never thought I would get to this weight. I cried when I saw the scale yesterday. When I had wls, I never really picked a number I wanted to get to as a goal weight....all I wanted was that number to start with a 1!!! Now that I'm here, I feel there's nothing I can't accomplish. I'm still not sure where I want to be yet, but my next goal will be to get to 180lbs. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  5. 205.7 Just got back from a 4 day trip to Niagara Falls...which was awesome!! For the first time in my life, I didn't have to worry about fitting into the plane seat, the rides we went on, seats at restaurants, seat belt in the rental car....it was so nice!! 6. They showed her weight when she went to the cardiologist....it was 379. I didn't catch the part that said she smokes, I was watching on and off, but that sure explains why her breathing sounded the way it did while she was climbing those stairs with her personal trainer. 8. I agree with you guys. I found this episode very hard to watch also. I hope she's finally getting the wake up call she needs. I was so shocked at her eating the stuffed crust philly cheese steak pizza right after being in the hospital....then I remembered when I was out of control with my life....a coworker had died due to weight related issues, and on the way home from her funeral, I stopped and got mcdonalds and ate it in the car. I was only 40lbs away from being as big as she is, so all this really hits home. I hope she finally decides to get some help. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. I have 7 tattoos in total, but the one that means the most to me is the one I got in remembrance of my brother. He was in the military and was killed in Afghanistan 10 years ago. He had a tattoo on his forearm that said "overcome"....he had to overcome a lot of fears to do all the things he did while in the military. After he died, I got overcome tattooed on my left calf surrounded by maple leafs....I'm from Canada. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
