I am extremely disappointed, discouraged, and depressed ALL THE D's that no one wants . Here the stats. March 22 , 2016 (surgery day) weighed in at 265! April 26, 2016 1st month Dr. Appt) weighed 244! Today May 19 , 2016 weighed 237.6 Idk what the problem is. I'm getting in all my Protein taking my Vitamins. I know I'm not supposed to compare myself to others on here and I'm extremely happy for their journey but now I'm just getting jealous. Like WTF! Why is everyone else losing so fast but me!!! I told my doctor I was walking she says well walking isn't gonna help you. Ugh I'm just at the point that I'm like why the hell did I even have surgery then. Complete BULLSHIT. Thank you the encouragement. I've honestly never been in so much pain in my entire life. I think it's mostly a gas pain. Doc just came in and said I'll be going home today. Thank god! But fear is kickin in! So afraid of failure. Getting enough fluids in is harder than I thought. I wish I could have been one of the luck ones that didn't get much pain. But man gastric bypass hurts obviously it's going to but I didn't think my body would react this way. On the first night every time I would go to the restroom I would throw up. Having really bad nausea. A sharp pain and gas feeling in the upper part of my chest/stomach area. I've gone pee probably 20 times with all the fluids. Let me say this is NOT an easy journey. But I can't wait to get past this road bump! Best wishes to everyone else. Any questions please ask .... I've been so overwhelmed that today at the doctors appointment I totally forgot to ask about my medications my appointment for surgery is Tuesday, March 22 I have a prescription that I take for back pain which is Norco's I am wondering if I'm able to take that before surgery or not I have pain right now and I would like to take my medication but I don't know if I should or not help. My insurance didn't require me to go on a diet or have the year long Dietian thing. I just know they do make you see the Dietian once and see a psychologist and then they give you a pre op class and then they submit your file and then you just wait for your date. Beyond exciting. People around me just can't understand what I'm feeling. This is a fresh start to a new life. So much more than being healthy to me. I just can't wait! So what should I bring with me to the hospital- what should I expect after surgery? Is it all gonna start going by really fast? What about the anesthesia that's my only fear now.
