Good luck! I've been fine up until today. I have a bit of nausea and a slight headache. Have not felt hunger at all. I just started the process in Jan. I had my initial consult, general dietician meeting, liver ultrasound, labs, and Dr follow up visit to review my labs. I have a 6 month supervised weight management process with the dietician. My first visit is today which means my 6 months start today. I have my psych eval on Monday and my EGD on Tuesday. Hope to have surgery in Aug or Sept. I am going through the process in Ohio but have to fly to South Carolina for the surgery because of my insurance. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have no idea the relationship between a mother and daughter but I suspect this has nothing to do with your weight. If it wasn't your weight, it would probably be your hair, or your teeth etc. People who typically do this are lashing out at you due to their personal inadequacies. Real or not. Perhaps her mother was very judgemental to her or her husband or someone else may have told her she was a bad mother and she sees your perceived flaws as her fault. Women are such beautifully complicated human beings. I pray you can show your mom some extra grace, as difficult as she can be. I pray you can let the words of hurt that have been spoken to you, drift away with the weight. I don't know you but you are such a strong person by getting this help to change your life. I would look into if second hand smoke could cause it. If it does, ask him to smoke in the garage or outside till you're approved. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
