I checked in early morning, had the sleeve around l0 a.m., slept, walked, had a leak test and was home by 4 p.m. No problems, no pain, just thankful not to be in the hospital catching staphylococcus or MRSA. 5. @@taweedeegirl what other tests did you need. I was told all I would need is blood work.depending on their qualifications or surgeons request ekg ..chest x rays .. ultrasound ..maybe upper GI or GERD test.. once u met with surgeon they will tell u @@taweedeegirl I already did all of that stuff. I had to get clearance from a cardiologist (I had a full heart work up-ekg and echocardiogram), I had a chest x ray, an EGD, blood work, physical with PCP, I had to submit full medical records from PCP, sleep study, results from last Pap, and something else but I cannot remember. My surgeon required all of that before they would submit. All I need to do once I get approval is my pre-op with PCP and pre-op blood work. At my first appointment with my surgeon she gave me a list of things she wanted before she would submit
