3 week plateau?
Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. None of us lose at a constant or steady rate. We all stall periodically and almost everyone experiences a stall about three weeks after surgery. Just follow your program. Focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids. Avoid starches and added sugars. Take your Vitamins and supplements as directed. Exercise when cleared. Stay off the scale of you are going to let it drive you crazy. And, Embrace the Stall!http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall l Thank you!!!!!! Your advice is so helpful and encouraging!!! I am following the program to the letter and quite proud of myself, I walked further than I ever thought possible today!!!! PS how do we get our ticker to post??tx

1 week post op! First post
Hi there, I hear you, the shakes even 2 times a day are boring!! In between is a jello or ice pop....today I am doing better at getting water down, and I hade real Coffee!!!!!!!!!! I tried decaf..it ain't happening LOL !! I still get tired, I also have an autoimmune disease... Fortunately I am retired. My daughter needed a full 2 weeks or so to go back to work when she had it... What soups do you use???? Tonight I have soft food for dinner again, after last nights mayhem, I am going to try ricotta left at room temp. I can't take the cold!!!! I'm so glad we are communicating !

I have to flavor water too, it gets to me and I need to get more in! I use Syntrex Nectar I bought on line at the the Vitamin Shoppe... I actually can have soft soft meats etc, eggs I was able to get in 2 oz of thin deli ham and cheese...could not make it to 3 oz. It was a weird but great feeling, I made sure I chewed thoroughly and too my time, I'm trying to listen to my body as to what it is telling me ,.a learning process!
