Does anyone use the full face mask?

Hi I was also just diagnosed with severe apnea, I also have a deviated septum. Does anyone use the full face mask?

My doctor says it stays in forever, unless there is a complication.

The south beach diet is recommended or a low GI diet. Which is what the South Beach is. I was told that I had to lose 5 percent of total weight.

Hi everyone. Had my first appt today, excited to start the process

Dont bother with that website it was alittle hard to navigate. I went to the lapband website and got the requirements here they are You are at least 18 years old You are at least 100 pounds overweight or your BMI is 40 or higher (or at least 35 if you have one or more comorbidities - weight-related health conditions - such as type 2 diabetes)

BMI is a requirement. 40 with no comorbidities and 35 with comorbidities. I am pretty sure these are right, but if you go to the website American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery it gives you the requirements.

wow 47 pounds I am so proud of you!!!! Way to go. 8am is good with me. Is it ok if us prospective banders attend? I am so excited tom is the seminar. I feel like this is a step in the right direction. Can't wait to begin this part of the journey! Also if anyone is interested in more info on the band and surgery I bought a book called Weight Loss Surgery with the Adjustable Gastric Band by Robert Sewell. It is pretty good. I got it because when I see Dr Hoffman I like to have any questions ready.

Dr. Hoffman says he uses a new band is this the AP? What is it? Sushi I will remember to stay away from. So last night we took the kids to seseme street live, on the way home my sister in law wanted to stop at tim hortons, we did. They ordered a dozen donuts. I went up and ordered a diet coke for myself and the lady behind the counter actually laughed at me. I cant wait to be banded and be on my way to a skinnier me.

My husband and I both see Dr. Hoffman, he is new to there practice. He is wonderful.

No problem sleeping here either. LOL The seminar is March 6.

Sent in the paperwork and am set up for the seminar. They told me I will get that confirmation in the mail(for seminar). I already had the psychologist visit. Did they have you do a sleep study?
