  6. Hey there, i'm brad, im new here! Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Im currently 17, will be 18 on the 13th of Feb. I currently weigh about 300lbs, and im seriously considering the band as an option. My mom had gastric bypass (i call it the hardcore version because they actually sliced her open) haha. Anyways, what were some of your experiences of the whole banding process? Does it hurt? how much weight could a guy like me (6' 1" 300lbs) be expected to loose? Thanks in advance!
