Les québécois aiment la visite :tongue: et nous apprécions beaucoup les canadiens anglais qui se donnent la peine de nous parler en francais. C'est rare. On dirait que les canadiens apprennent à parler francais seulement le jour où ils ont des chances d'être élus premier-ministre du Canada:lol: Je suis content que tu aies eu du succès avec le Lap band. Nous entendons souvent des histoires à propos d'échecs avec le lap band et ca me rend un peu... nerveux. Ca fait du bien de lire des choses positives:wink2:

I do about the same. I cant eat Slim fast or Boost stuff anymore :frown: so I eat 1 or 2 cup of creamy soup, 1 cup of Jello and 1 cup of yogurt and a couple of coffee cup.... per day and that's all. I will be on mushie food in 2 days... I cant wait!:eek:

Om my side (banded yesterday 31-01-2008) My diet is: 3 days of clear liquid 3 days of liquid (fruit juice, wilk, yougourt, cream Soup etc..) 4 days of mushies after 10 days... regular food.

I will try to help you as much as i can but... english is not my first language so.. I am doing very bad! :confused: I am also on the pre-op diet. Slim fast all the way and I am also hungry like never be4! It's hard! It's my 8 of 10 days liquid diet be4 surgery. (it will be next thuersday). To help me to pass trought it, I am talking to myself in my head... after 1 day, I told: it is 10% done. After 2 days.... 20% (double of the first day :tt1:) after 5 day I said: yes! 50%!alf way! and so! and of course, I am trying to do something keeping busy my brain ... Dont Cheat! It's feasable! just do it!:frown: But if you do.... dont give-up! Keep focussed and it should not be too bad and you will get the surgery anyways.. good luck.

First of all I want to tell that this forum is very helpfull and people arround are very nice. Sorry for my bad english, it is not my first language. :biggrin: I am from Quebec. My doctor is S. Miller at Drummondville. I hope it is going to be good. I am a bit afraid by surgery... no, I am very afraid by surgery to be honest :cool2: Actually, I am on the pre-op diet. It's not easy.. but I will survive. I have to go at the restaurant very often for business diner. Today, I have a big dilema... should I say that I can't go to the restaurant... or just go and drink water? It will be hard to be there and dont eat... On the other hand... when I quit smoking 18 month ago, I never run away to avoid other smokers... What do you think?

Interesting question... Is it the first cultural habit that all Canadian share coast to coast? Including people from Québec? Is this will become a symbole of canadian unity? :tongue:

Je vais être opéré par le docteur Miller dans quelque jours. En effet, les coûts sont de 5000$ et couvrent l'achat du Lap band. La chirurgie est couverte par la RAMQ. En passant, je me suis informé et mes assurances vont payer pour le 5000$.
