But Was advanced to soft food/stage 4 diet as of today. Also was cleared to go back to the gym to do kickboxing again. I'm so happy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using the BariatricPal App

  10. So I'm 2 weeks post op . I had the VSG on 11/22/16 and been doing really well.. I was already back to work 4 days after surgery. Doing full 8 hours shift. Doing really good with all my liquids and sipping all day on Water, having my Soup broth,Jello and pudding. I had stop taking the pain meds once I was 6 days post op altogether n haven't felt any pian...I do walk alot and I'll dance around my house to reggae n fast music. Then still feel fine or no soreness. I even been doing squats on and off. Still no pain or sore in stomach. I just make sure I pay attention to body to make sure I'm not pushing my self too much. But I been away from my gym for so long I'm very tempted to go back just to do cardio work outs as long it's nothing with the stomach. Do u think I shouldn't push it and wait? How long have u waited to work out again. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using the BariatricPal App

  13. So I'm still on the liquid phase of my diet. But I'm only 12 days post op. I decided based on recipes I found online and on here to blend my own smoothies. I brought all frozen fruit, a huge tub or plain greek yogurt, EAS vanilla protien powder 30 gram , PBFIT powder, frozen spinch. Then also a magic bullet. The only liquid i add is Water. No added auger of any kind is used I blended my first smoothie last night which I drank for dinner. Which took me almost 2 hours to drink down. The smoothie alone is about 50 grams of protien when made if not a lil more. It went great. Stomach felt good and tasted great for not adding no sugar like honey or using some type of juice to sweeten it up. I figueed only do this just once and a while is ok when drinking the ready made shakes get boring.Wanted to know has anyone else done that. What did u make as smoothie.?
