  4. I am using Dr. Eschete at Lafayette general in Lafayette. I will have the sleeve but I know he also does lap bands.

  9. That is awful. My advice is to find a new therapist. You are being treated poorly. Therapists are regular people who come with their own set of baggage. Find a person who listens to you and is willing to work with you. My current therapist is the 3rd one I Tried within a four month period. When I met her we instantly connected and I trusted her. I've been with her for years now. When we discussed wls she was understanding and supportive. Don't be afraid to make a change. Good luck!!

  14. Don't give up!!! Get all your info together. All I had to do was call my dr. The nurse did it for me. They were very kind. Good luck:)
  15. I actually had an appointment today with the dr. I also met with insurance lady. She is 99 percent certain all I Need to turn in is 5 year weight history from my pcp. ( which I turned in). She wanted to schedule surgery today. I wasn't ready. Still praying about it. It's a huge step!!!!

  21. I'm a teacher and I considered doing it spring break also. My break is not until the end of March. However, I've decided to wait until summer. It's hard to wait but I teach pre k. The little ones require me to be more physical. Good luck to you:)

  23. I just told my sister in law and mother in law about my decision to have gastric sleeve. I was so Hurt when they were so negative. They went on and on about people they know who have gained all their weight back. They are both very large women. I've decided to never mention it to them again. It was just upsetting because I didn't see it coming. Thanks for letting me vent.
