  2. I got sleeved yesterday as well, four incisions. How are you feeling? I had horrible indigestion in which I had to burp up, it was bad. Other than that I would've been in a very minimal amount of pain. Sent from my SM-G928T using the BariatricPal App I'm feeling a little sore. Very little burping. Getting in and out of bed is a little hard, other than that, I'm ok. I'm wishing you a speedy recovery, and much success on this incredible journey! 3. Hi All. I was sleeved on yesterday. Upon waking up, I had a serious headache from the anesthesia. The worst part was the nausea and I was burping like crazy. I didn't feel better until I vomited a little. Anybody else experience this? Sent from my SM-G928T using the BariatricPal App

  7. Your surgeon is more than likely verifying that your insurance covers the surgery and if so. What are the requirements. Your insurance requirements normally dictate your path. Some plans require supervised visits, evaluations and other things, some don't. Sent from my SM-G928T using the BariatricPal App
  8. Best wishes. I would wait a week and then follow up if you don't hear anything. I waited two weeks and then called the surgeon's office and miraculously my decision had just came through. Sent from my SM-G928T using the BariatricPal App

  15. I'm seriously considering only taking 5 days off of work to avoid filling FMLA. Three days off and two days working from home actually. I have a desk job. I personally think the sooner I can get back into the swing of things the better it will be for me but I've never had this surgery before. I've heard a a variety of stories and would love to hear from some of you. Thank you.

  25. Although my insurance doesn't require a letter of necessity from physician the hospital where I'm having surgery does. Well I asked my ob-gyn to do it for me and he said that he doesn't do those I'll have to get with my primary care physician. Well I've only seen her once and in the past and I'm not sure if she'll even do it. Has anyone ever ran into this? Where did you get your letter of necessity from?
