I had my surgery two days ago in Burbank, CA.
I've had three knee surgeries prior to this, and tolerate pain pretty well, but this was just different. I remember waking up in the recovery room, beyond groggy, loopy, nauseous, and in pain. The pain wasn't the typical "ouch" pain, it was more of a I just did a million crunches and my abs are trying to recover soreness. My stomach felt "unsecured", and I remember the first day being in the hospital and barely being able to walk 10 ft without feeling like vomiting--although I never actually did.
Day two (today) was much better. Was able to walk. Get some fluids in. And they actually sent me home. But now I have found myself unable to sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time. Gas builds up and I have to start walking my hallway until I burp or something.
