  1. I was craving eggs benedict at two weeks out.... I had my boyfriend make it for me but with smoked salmon instead of ham and only ate the egg, some salmon and the sauce... It was so good even though I could only eat about half of it!
  2. Tomorrow (April 5th) is my date! I sent you a message also. Thank you for setting up a group for all of us!
  3. http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2016/04/premier-protein-new-flavor-bananas-cream.html I called the local sams club last week and they dont have it yet.... Im excited for it also!

  5. My friend has been getting her shakes from Insure for about 6 months and she said that hers was stopped on the first of the year. She talked to a lady at the surgeons office yesterday and was told that Insures contracts with the insurance company didn't get renewed and they are trying to fix it now so it should be approved eventually for us but not sure how long.
  6. I went through the website and applied and they called me the next day to verify my insurance info and ask if i wanted the other products that they offer before they run my insurance. I then get a call the day after that telling me that my insurance does not cover any of it. Sad. Oh well.
  7. You should be healed before your surgery so i wouldn't see why it would be.
  8. I finished my stuff to be submitted for approval on Friday. Scheduler called me today and said it takes about two weeks to get results from the psych eval then submit but that i should be looking at the end of March for surgery but she can't schedule until approval.
  9. you can ask them to make you "hand rolls" without rice. its really yummy and fills that craving. :-)
  10. I am Pre-Op right now but I am worried about this also. I have 3 pointers and they are crazy energetic, wild monsters who think they are lap dogs (all at the same time) and like to sleep in the bed with us! One is 5years old, one is 1 year old and one is 7 months old. I will probably keep them outside when I have the surgery but I worry about them jumping up.
  11. I love my fitbit. I have the Charge HR. I push a cart alot at work and I didnt think it was picking up my steps complety because of it. I will put it in my pocket if my slacks have pockets or I will use a rubber band and attach it to my akle some days just to see the difference. Its still counting steps and pulse and all that on my ankle and in my pocket so I dont know if one is right or wrong, but thats just what Ive done.
  12. I didn't have to remove my nipple rings but i told her about them and she said she would note it on the file when sent to the Dr.
  13. New random thought. I have a chest x ray tomorrow morning will i have to take them out for that?
  14. I just worry that I will take them out and not be physically able to put them back in without clamps and help.... That would be weird to ask the nurse for help with... HAHA
  15. I'm starting the steps also and have all of my pre-authorization appointments scheduled for this month and the beginning of February. I'm hoping to schedule for March also! Good Luck!
  16. Hello, I am pre-op and I was wondering about how the weight loss will affect the appearance of my tattoos or if anyone has had any problems with this? I have one on my calf, one on my forearm and three on my back/shoulders. I also was wondering if you are required to take out piercings for surgery or if I can get retainers/ clear plastic bars to put in so they don't close up? I'm not worried about my ears or tongue, but I am about my more discreet piercings. They are hard to change and I don’t want to have them close up while I’m in the hospital. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks much!
  17. Hello! I am just starting the process but I have been looking around and there are not any support groups anywhere to be found! How are you doing with your sleeve? I live in Graham but I work in Gig Harbor and going to my first consultation on 1-6-16 and hoping to get this all started!
  18. Yay! Good Luck! My consultation is tomorrow afternoon. I'm so nervous!
  19. Hello everyone! I live in Graham, WA. I have my first appointment with Dr Houseworth at Federal Way St Francis on January 20th. I'm so excited and ready to do this! I've already had my insurance contacted and they cover the surgery, so now I want to get this process started. I was so excited when I found out my insurance covered the surgery and the appointment was the first thing I set up after it became active. I'm just sad that I have to wait until almost the end of January to go but its one step in the right direction for me! I would love to find people locally for additional support and understanding through this process. Good luck to everyone out there and Happy New Years!
  20. Hello, I know this is an older post, but Hello! I have my first appointment scheduled with Dr Houseworth on the 21st of January. I originaly had an appointment with Dr. Anwar but rescheduled to Houseworth after doing some more research and not finding ANY info on Anway but alot on Houseworth. How was your experiance with him? How was your surgery? How are you doing now? Thank you!
