  1. Tylenol causes liver failure if you use it incorrectly or if you're a regular drinker AND habitual Tylenol user. Using it sporadically for minor pain/ fevers doesn't cause liver failure without some other condition also present.
  2. Getting ready for the blizzard to hit!
  3. I used a heating pad to help me the first couple days home. Miracle worker. Also, I was told that for some people the gas pains would travel up into the shoulder. Maybe that has something to do with your pain? If so, walking is the best way to get that gas out!
  4. Yesterday was one of my classmates birthdays. The girls decided we would all take her out for lunch after class today. The restaurant was amazing and let me order from the kids menu! My half kiddie hamburger stayed down and I was even super risky and tried a grape! No issues! Really happy because grapes are a fruit that I really like. The best part though was telling my classmates who didn't know I had surgery. They were all so incredibly encouraging and supportive. I hope everyone going through this process has at least one person in their life like that! Of course they also liked having a guaranteed designated driver for future get together's! ????
  5. I had mine 12/21 and am in the same boat. I never feel hungry. I'm eating 3 times a day because I know I have to. Never get hungry. I've been wondering how long that lasts.
  6. I just had my two week follow up and was advanced to soft foods INCLUDING moist meats. Every dr has a different plan they like their patients to follow. I know I've seen some people mention trying meats with gravy. And then of course making sure to chew to oblivion and really really tiny pieces.
  7. I'm too scared to bite them. Might sound totally ridiculous but my head goes oh gosh what if you swallowed one and it's not smaller than an eraser or it scratches something. My heads a strange place at times.
  8. I'm going through my week 3 stall currently. I'm continuing to do what I have been and just riding it out. For me it's a nice chance to look at the other non scale progress I've made. Clothes fit better, tons more energy, and so far (fingers crossed) no dumping! I'll gladly go through stalls instead of gains!
  9. The dreaded week 3 stall found me ????. Embracing it. Current weight: 297.6
  10. Yeah you're gonna have to remove piercings for a chest X-ray
  11. I know that tea in general is a diuretic. Not sure if that could be part of the issue or not? I haven't experienced with anything that I would need to moisten yet. Too much of a scaredy cat lol.
  12. I haven't experienced it yet, but j was told by my NUT and a friend who's 3 years post op to stay away from fats for now. Was the mayo the only new thing?
  13. My family still lives down in the Clinton county area.
  14. Two week post op visit went great! I was cleared to advance to soft/mushy foods, and I'm super glad to say that there were no issues. That's definitely something I've been stressing out about. Loving life in 2016!
  15. Since I weighed today I'll go ahead and post em. SW: 297.00 Goal: 280.00
