I feel safe telling you now because the show should be over for the West Coast folks. Lisa Tucker was voted off. Too bad though, I thought she had tremendous talent for such a young age. I wanted Ace to be voted off. He bugs the living S**T out of me!!
  2. I think the idea of a monthly Gone For Good Club thread, with the Members Page and Honors Page at the beginning, is a great idea!! :biggrin1: P.S. I checked my stats and they look fine.
  3. Congratulations, P'Nut & Dawg!! :clap2:
  4. C 207 (- 67 total, - 2 this week)
  5. Skye - I'm so sorry about your husband's colon cancer. *BIG hugs*
  6. LOL...you're a nut. I love it! :biggrin1:
  7. Happy 6 months to you as well. 75 pounds is amazing....congrats to you!! I've been a bit bad this past week when it comes to food and exercise. I've splurged and had a few (big) cookies and haven't exercised like I should. I've also grazed a few times. I guess we just have to tell ourselves what we know to be true.....eat proper meals and STOP grazing. It's mind over matter and (sometimes) easier said than done. I'm going to make an effort to be good and start exercising again. I wish you the best of luck.
  8. You're very welcome. I found Shakeerah's begging and this ebay listing to be absurd. Some people have no shame and will do anything.
  9. 10 ml is equal to 2.03 teaspoons 15 ml is equal to 3.04 teaspoons http://ntl.nectec.or.th/services/converter/
  10. Oy vey! I thought this might be that same woman that was on here recently begging for donations. Here's the thread.... http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=15756 By the way, this woman has 2 ebay listings asking for people to pay for her lapband surgery. http://cgi.ebay.com/Make-Me-Thin-Pay-for-My-Lap-Band-Weight-Loss-Surgery_W0QQitemZ9501785519QQcategoryZ88433QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Make-Me-Thin-Pay-for-My-Lap-Band-Surgery-Dutch-9-99_W0QQitemZ9501848071QQcategoryZ88433QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  11. You are correct, sir. Their names are Dr. Marinus Koning and Dr. Stephen Archer and their contact info is as follows: 2705 NE Connors Suite B Bend, OR 97701 Phone: (541) 322-5753
  12. I too enjoy the South Beach protein bars, both chocolate and peanut butter. If I don't drink a protein shake for breakfast, I'll have one of them instead (or at least 1/2 of one).
  13. Hi Judy, You've come to the right place! LBT is GREAT!! To answer your question, yes, I am extremely happy with my decision to be banded. I would do it again, in less than a heartbeat! As you can see by my stats below, I was banded a little over 6 months ago and I'm down 66 pounds. I'm 48 lbs. from my goal weight and hope to reach it by my 1 year mark. Best of luck to you with your decision. Tricia
  14. Congratulations and welcome to bandland!
  15. :D CONGRATULATIONS!!
  16. I'm happy to hear her surgery went well. Let's hope her recovery goes just as well.
  17. Yes, I hit mine quite often. I forget that it's there and then, BAM, ok now I remember!!
  18. Welcome to the club, shauntil6266!! :biggrin1:
  19. Yeah, I love that area. Had I not met my husband and moved to Louisiana, I would still be there. He loves the area (and cheesesteaks) too. But, you're right, you can't beat the food. Everyone raves about the food here in New Orleans but I just don't care for it. Give me a good eggplant rollatini or gnocci with pesto and a cannoli above anything, anytime!! My husband and I were just there visiting in late December/early January. I think we're due for another visit! :biggrin1:
  20. This happened to me as well. I was told by my surgeon that this might happen and to just keep the area clean with hibiclens and it will close/heal up on its own. I was also told to tug a bit on the popped stitch and it would eventually come out. But, please make sure your hands are clean before tugging.
  21. I used to live right outside of Philly, in Maple Shade, NJ. Oh how I miss good Italian food and cheesesteaks!! I hope you guys have fun meeting up for lunch.
  22. Kellie, I'm happy that your surgery went well and that you're already pleased with the results. Your pictures show a tremendous difference and I can't wait to see you again after you've healed completely!!
  23. Please see my earlier post about diagnosing PCOS. Also, an ultrasound was done on me to see if I had cysts on my ovaries. Thankfully, I don't have any. If you think you may have it, I suggest making an appointment to see an endocrinologist.
  24. I was diagnosed with PCOS ~5 years ago but I do not have cysts on my ovaries. I suppose I'm considered a Rabbit though. There's a way to diagnose even if you don't have cysts on your ovaries. I was given a pill that is supposed to shut down a particlar gland and fasted until blood was was drawn the next morning. If that particular gland was still producing, it proved that I have PCOS. Well, my fasting test did show that the gland was still producing.
