  1. Don't make your decisions based on some issue that may or may not occur. I was/am a VERY squeamish patient, so I know how you feel. I had surgery at the end of December. I only vomited a little the first few days after surgery. This can happen after any surgery, by the way! If you follow the guidelines and listen to your body, you'll be just fine!
  2. http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com Lots of really good recipes!
  3. Thank you, small bird! VERY helpful! Yes, I'll follow you on instagram.
  4. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question!!! .... I have about 7 medications/vitamins that I am supposed to take every day. Four of them are huge! I've tried the "crushing in applesauce" technique, but they are hard to get down. Is there any reason why I can't just put them in my Ninja (blender) with my Protein shakes? (I was sleeved on 12/29.) Any other tips on taking all these pills and Vitamins in MUCH appreciated! Thank you!!

  7. My surgery is on 12/29. I'm on day five of the two week Optifast diet. I've doing okay, but the only thing I have been craving is a piece of chicken. Does anyone else feel sort of mild nausea from Optifast? The ladies at work did a cookie exchange and gave me 4 dozen cookies! UGH! I had my husband take them to work with him. I wasn't tempted to eat any, so that was good!
