I'm excited more than nervous. I've been big my whole life, it's time for me to feel good in my body! My husband is a cancer survivor and we worry about his health, I need to be healthy to be around for a long time for my boys.

Hi! I'm Amy, 33 married to my biggest cheerleader. I have two boys ages 9 and 5. From Ludington Mi. I'm having surgery done in Muskegon by dr. Gluck. Looking for a friend for the journey! My stats are Biggest weight: 330lbs Consultation weight: 301.5 I'm 5'4" Doc says I will end up around 120lbs!

I'm 5'4" my doc says my goal weight is 120lbs which I think was my birth weight! Ha! My body frame is very petite under my weight. I can't imagine what 120lbs will feel like, but I imagine I'll move like a hummingbird!

I got my date on Christmas Day! By far the biggest life changing gift I've ever gotten! It's scheduled, I'm in the books and my life is about to change for the better! Anyone else a few 2nd sleever? -amy

Well, I have an edg on the 30th and had a follow up with my primary, guess who has high blood pressure now?! This girl! It was 160/108 yikes! Doc gave me meds I started today, hope this helps my process verse slow it down!

I had my surgery done by Dr Gluck and he's amazing! Surgery went great and recovery was very smooth (aside from the usual pain). Meg100 I sent you a message! Hoping we can stay connected since we have the same surgeon!

I had my first consultation yesterday! I also did my nutrition class and psych evaluation done. I was so nervous they would tell me I can't have it done! All went well! Love my surgeon! Good luck on your consult!

Hi michigan sleevers! I go on Thursday 12/10/15 for my consult, nutrition class and psych evaluation. I can't wait! I'm seeing dr. Brian Gluck at life without limits in Muskegon mi. Anyone worked with him? I have BCBS of Michigan and they seem all on board for it from when I call and speak with them but I'm so scared I won't get passed thru! I'm 5'4" 302lbs. My BMI is 51.83 as of right now. Per the insurance company I won't be required to do the 6 month medically monitored diet, but I'm so scared that rug is going to be pulled! I'm so ready to start taking better care of myself and get the sleeve done. I'm so ready to get myself healthy for my kids.
