Hello, Everyone I'd gotten so depressed because I can't afford to pay for WLS nor either an Insurance Company in my state that covers it. I decided to hire and Nutritionist/Personal Trainer, at a price I can afford. I've cut out sugar and carbs, and as a result, I've lost 12 pounds, in six days!!! I pray that I will have success in trying to lose weight. I pray that everyone reaches their goals!!!!! I want to lose a total of 115 pounds!!! Please share your thoughts.

I am so sad because Mississippi doesn't cover Bariatrics!! I can't find any private Insurance that covers it. Please help me.

I'm praying that I will one day have a surgery day. There aren't any Insurance companies that will cover WLS.

I'm so sad. I have been trying to find medical coverage for WLS and haven't found any. I'm 4'11 and weigh 282!! I was told if I ever get SSDI, I will have to wait 24 months, before I can get Medicare.

It's through the Health Market. When I contacted the State Insurance, I was told that they couldn't help me.

I'm sad because I have been searching and searching for Insurance that will cover WLS, because I can't afford to self pay. Please keep me in your prayers. I feel like if they'd pay for WLS, they wouldn't have to deal with me going to the dr., with all of these health issues.

mboyd74 did you have surgery through Insurance. I'm in Mississippi and my Insurance won't pay for surgery.

My a Insurance is through the a Health Market.

They don't have their own coverage so my doctor is trying me on Adipex.

I'm praying for a financial blessing so that I can get it paid for.

Inner Surfer Girl, you are so right. My state doesn't cover it. It's disheartening.

I've contacted several Insurance Companies that have told me they don't cover Bariatric surgery. I have an Individual plan.
