  6. At the beginning of the year I planned a week vacation to MI to visit my family (parents, sister and niece and nephews) the beginning of July since my favorite Kiddos will be out of school. Well my surgery was scheduled just two weeks prior to my planned trip. Since I will already be on leave from work 3-6 weeks as needed I figured that maybe I could reschedule my trip for week 4. My question is, for those that have had RYN how did you feel 4 weeks out? Do you think you would have been able to do a a couple hour plane ride? Once I am there I can take it as easy as I want and my plan is really just to hang out with the family and play with the niece and nephews ( my favorite kiddos ). They are also super supportive of my surgery, so I am not worried about the diet / food issue. So do you think this would be possible or should I just try to plan something later in the year? 16. My NUT doesn't want me to drink Premier Protein because they don't have the best kind of protein. I actually don't like them anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks! I'm going to give it a try! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Done! Good luck on your surgery today!
  18. What Protein powder do you use? I am on the search for a good one and have tried a couple by none with 30g of protein. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. My surgery day is the same as you. 6/27. 6/7: A group counseling session 6/9: Pre/op day. Meeting with the surgeon again, NUT to review pre/post op diet and bone density scan 6/13: start two week high Protein liquid diet. I believe I am allowed 4 oz of real protein, like chicken, yogurt, eggs and unlimited no starchy veggies with 4 Protein shakes a day. 6/27: THE BIG DAY! I am scheduled to arrive at the hospital at 1:15pm which makes me nervous since you can have nothing to drink, not even Water after Midnight!
