  1. Congrats on your success...I'm down 47 lbs since banding 3/4/08...had my first fill of 6cc's last week...don't feel the restriction I want...scheduled for 6/12 for 2nd fill. Wishing you continued success!!

Diva...my heart goes out to you....I made the same mistake and took 2 pills at the sametime(what was I thinking...the "good old days???)Proceed to take a teaspoon of egg salad...within seconds I had the equivalent of wallpaper paste sitting on my chest...I too vomit from my toes but fortunately that didn't happen this time...the pills came up and all was fine with the world...but for those few minutes....HELL ON EARTH!! Down 47 pounds since 3/4/08...Good Luck!
  3. Banded 3/4/08...Dr. Murr Tampa General Hospital...down 47 lbs and had my first fill this past Thursday...6cc's...don't feel the restriction I had when first banded...will wait 2 weeks and go back for more if things don't change...Good luck March Bandsters!

  5. Ah Tex....a Barbequed steak.....first thing on my list!!! I've pureed just about everything in site!! BORING....but the 20lb weight loss has been enjoyable! Like you I grab that V8 to quiet the growling lion! Very pleased with how smooth things are going...

  7. I'm right there with you texgirly...your getting more down than me...I have no desire to eat or drink. I force myself to do it...I don't want to dehydrate. Eating the cream soups...so far so good!!
  8. I go back in 4 weeks...I started "mushies" today...not very appealing...drinking protein water. When do you get your first fill?
  9. Hi everyone....surgery was on the 4th, stayed overnight and feel like a million bucks! No drama here....just sorry I waited so long!! good luck everyone.....
  10. Hey Texgirly....Me Too!! Liquids all day...have to be at the hospital 5:30 for 7:30 procedure!! Overnight stay only because I have a tendency to clot. Hopefuly in 30 minutes my life will be forever changed tommorrow. It's 4:00 now and my stomach is rumbling..."feed me".....Good luck and stay in touch!
  11. Did my pre/op yesterday...all went well and being banded tuesday 3/4 @ 7:30A.M. Liquids only all day Monday....let the games begin!!! Good Luck everyone....
  12. Hi Troops! Well I did the pre/op visit yesterday...met with the surgery team and everything is a go!! All the visit entailed was an x-ray, labs, ekg...only have to do a liquid diet Monday...arrive 5:30 Tuesday morning and showtime is 7:30!! All the "what ifs" went out of my head and I am ready to go!! Good luck everyone!
