  18. I am pretty immobile, should I start walking more often? Well, yes I know I should to be healthier.. But to help prevent clots, should I start now? I have trouble walking because my knee, and also my shins really start to hurt. But maybe if I start with once or twice around the block now will be helpful in the long run. I think when I start out with walking, I push myself to much and get disappointed with the pain and than give up quickly.. I work one mile from work and I have walked there once, and when I got There I was in so much pain I almost cried. Sad but true ???? a clot after surgery is my BIGGEST fear and may actually hold me back from this.
