Hey ladies! Ugh! So turns out My coordinator thought I just needed 3 months of NUT appointment when in fact it's 90 days! My 90 days will be on Feb 18 so now I have to wait until then to resubmit! On the bright side once the received my paperwork they replied in 3 business days... They didn't deny it, it was just cancelled... I'm in vacation right now and won't be back home till next week so hopefully that makes the time go fast! thank you ladies for your support!

@SeseAlegria They got it on Friday 1/22! FINALLY! Now just have to sit and wait... its a relief to know they have it though! They said up to 14 business days.... We shall see...

Hello my name is Felicia, and I finished all my requirements January 13, 2016. My insurance coordinator said she submitted on Tuesday but It takes time because it goes to different dept. Mind you she is my surgeons wife so I figure she is telling the truth. I have been calling my insurance twice a day and they still say they haven't received anything and that it takes 3 days to upload faxes into their system! Can anyone confirm this? I'm getting impatient and I'm about to freak out! I wouldn't care if the "review" took long I just hate that they say that they don't have it at all!

I"m hoping for February! Insurance has my paperwork! Fingers crossed!

@@tdc Hi! Well I finished everything last Wednesday (1/13) to submit to insurance! Unfortunately I called the BcBs and they haven't received my package yet! Ugh! I'm gonna call the coordinator in the morning! I had my Endoscopy this morning... I'm dying to know something!!! How about you!!!!

@@SesaAlegria Thank you! I called BCBS and they said they haven't received anything yet! Trying to be patient but you know how it is... Hopefully ill hear something next week... We shall see.

Yay congratulations! I'm hoping for February surgery as well! Actually my package isn't going to be turned in until today or tomorrow! Today is my last NUT appt! I don't know why I type tomorrow instead of next week... LOL

Congratulations! That's my insurance, my last NUT appointment is next Wednesday. Surgeon's office said everything will be ready to submit after! Super NERVOUS!

If you wait till January you can use 2014 2015 2016...

@@MeFirst So I had my first surgeon appt. Everything went awesome! According to my insurance advocate everything is great! I even asked her if she thought I should switch insurances and she said there was no need... We are just going to exclude the 204 weigh in.... I even got to have my NUT appt today! So I should be doing my last appt and ready to submit Feb 10! Even my doctor promised if my insurance covers surgery, they WILL get it approved! fingers crossed! I will keep you updated!

@@MeFirst I know exactly how you feel! I should have all my requirements in February and am hoping for a March date... in 2014 I have a February weight of 204 and then I don't have another weigh in until October 2014 of 215.... I have Hypertension, pre-diabetic, and a family history of HBP and Strokes... My first appointment with the surgeons office is tomorrow, I cant wait to see what they say... I am going to ask them if I should change insurances also... it open season right now and according to my research MHBP (Aetna) only requires a year of weight history.... No matter what I too will eventually get approved, I just couldn't bare the thought of being obese for another year! (INSERT DRAMATIC SIGH)
