  1. Getting so excited for tomorrow. This clear liquid diet thing just stinks. I love knowing that it is for something that is going to be amazing. Just want to eat some homemade popcorn (I want just craving it, won't let myself slip). Anyone else going in for tomorrow?

  4. I should have also mentioned I have PCOS as well.
  5. I was in the exact same boat as you. I completely agree with going with the bypass since it has so much more data behind it. One bonus of the bypass was the endocrine benefits. When is your surgery? Mine is November 30. My weight when I met the surgeon on Oct. 21 I weighed in at 249. As of this week I have weighed in at 235.8. I've done some drastic stuff so when I do the liver shrink diet starting Monday its not as much of a shock.

  8. I'm at MGH. Dr Hutter is doing my surgery on November 30. I'm so excited and very comfortable with him and everyone else I've met.
  9. To be honest at first I was not thrilled. They have a fee that threw me off of everything. But the more research I did I found it is an amazing program. They offer classes that are mandatory and I believe is one of the reason they are so successful. Their program is listed as number 3 in the US. Everyone is so super helpful in the office and everything seems to run very smoothly. They are booked out so it might take some time to get in. But it is worth it.
  10. Anyone out there have a planned surgery at MGH? I have scheduled RNY on November 30. I'm excited to have this done and to be healthier. I'm 5'3 and my weight when I met the surgery two weeks ago was 249.
  11. I'm going in November 30. So excited. There will a lot us going in that day.
  12. Mine is November 30.
