Well these pills are like capsules (plasticy with a jacketed halves). so no crushing just pulling apart and there is a powder med n it. So I did find on google to never ever take them apart as it may damage me....so wait till tomorrow for an answer, Going in person, I HAVE TO take my cymbalta. This isnt a drug one should stop taking,

I have asked my surgeon if and when I can resume taking my already prescribed Cymbalta now since my sleeve. He told me to ask my pharmacist. I cant for the life of me get through to them at all on the phone so I am asking here before I Google it. Can I take it apart and take it? Anyone experience this? Thnaks

Hey ya all! Had my sleeve on 12/31/15 and already have dropped around 10 lbs. What? Wow! Although its been only a short time, I am confident I am doing the right thing. Experienced the "oh no Ive eaten too fast and got them awful shoulder, back and all around stabbing pains" OMG! It feels awful! I am currently taking STI G6 Prolfic Isolate whey Protein as my daily shake, both vanlla and chocolate. Tastes pretty good. Somehow I am struggling to consume the required 48oz of liquids daily. But I manage with ice chips, gatorade and Water water water...sometimes tastes like metal! BLECK! Anyway, enough for now. I have a 2 week follow up soon. See yas later! Love this website forum! I just bought some Unjury and cant wait to taste it after my VSG 12/31

My VSG is 12/31/15 here in Houston. My biggest fear is the hunger thing as well. Reading these comments I have learned quite a bit. Especially "Eat to live NOT live to eat". I recently ordered a sample starter pack of unjury Protein drinks. My wife says I need to wait and see what my surgeon recommends or ask him about it first before I start to drink anything. Smart gal she is, despite her being a nurse she is my wife and bestie so she is right!

OK! My VSG date is now set for December 31,2015.

I am hoping for a December sleeve. Got all my appointments done except one more (hopefully) psyc meet. I just hope I can get it done before end of the year for insurance sake!

Jumped thru all my hoops sofar except the psyc. Saw this 20 something "kid" to talk about my feeeelings and stuff 2 seperate times already and still wants a follow up Nov 11....ugh. I understand he just doing his job but it is kinda getting on my nerves. Just this kid thats holding up my parade.

Houston, TX and my surgery is TBA pending my THIRD and hopefully final psyc. meet with a 20 something psycologist....ugh
