Hi everyone Just checking in here. Went to my post op appt on Monday- weight in @ 308 lbs... Doing well...well be going to the gym today to see if I can handle the treadmill. First time since surgery. I have almost no pain now. My first fill will be on Jan 25, 06.. How is everyone doing??

Congrats Stephanie If you are on a diet and losing weight, please dont stop.. That almost held me back because I started to gain weight again and the surgeon recomended I lose 19 lbs for surgery.. ( I lost 18 lbs and they were happy with that). Good luck Joe

Hi Lisa I dont think the doctor will cancel being it is only 2lbs...I will find out on Monday what time the surgery will be... Just want to get it done and over with. Well good luck to you and hope you have a speedy recovery.. Keep in touch Jersey Joe

Hi eveyone 2 days to go before surgery.( Tuesday ). I weight in this morning @ 322 lbs ( yesterday it was 320.8 ) When I saw the doctor in September he said he wanted me to lose 19 lbs ( was 339 lbs then ). I have an appt on Monday @ 8:30 A.M. so I hope to be down to 320 lbs. Any last minute tips on losing 2 lbs fast. I am doing the Full liquid diet today/ clear liquid diet on Monday. Any tips?? Thanks Joe

Hi Everyone I will be having surgery on Dec 13,. When I went to the doctors office back in sept he wanted me to lose 19 lbs before surgery. As of today i have 5 more lbs to lose to meet my surgery weight. I would like to lose the 5 lbs before I see him on the 12th. Anyone out there have any tips? I have been on a low cab/ liquid diet. My doc told me he wants me to lose 19 lbs..I was at the time 339..as of today I am 336 lbs.

FYI- I got approved and have a date for 12/13/05.

I just my my date for December 13, 2005..I would love to lose at least 15 lbs before the surgery.. any suggestions?

I have good documentation, The only problem is it is not consecutive like the insurance company wants...
