My band is completely undone and I can barely eat

Ouch! I'm not sure what I'd do if I were I were in your shoes. I have thought about it quite a bit. Not sure if I'd get another Lap-Band if I had issues with it or revise to another procedure. What is your surgeon suggesting?I meet with him Wednesday... We will see... If he does not agree with revision I will find someone who will... Glad your doing so well.. I was told "you have a failed surgery in you" by my thyroid Dr...

I think after getting the band I have turned into a alcoholic... Waiting for sleeve approval and nervous about the fact I can't drink but I wanna stop or cut back Forsure! I been miserable with my band and gave up on it years ago... Slipped,leaking,port flipped... I can't wait to feel "normal"

I got preggo at 240 the first month trying with a fertility monitor and when I tried again after WLS ... I was 160 and then I was told I didn't ovulate on a regular basis... Not sure why....

I'm completely unfilled since my band landed me in ICU for 3 weeks cuz it aspirated into my lungs and the left lung started to collapse...

It has slipped and I have a leak and my port has flipped.. I want a revision to the sleeve...

Alex the band is still in you?? I'm miserable with mine but I'm still over 100 pnds lost mark and haven't gained but I throw up a lot...

Glad to hear your doing well ...my band has slipped and I'm completely unfilled with tons of issues... I'm scared to take my band out without a revision... What's your BMI?

I'm not sure what to do my lap band has slipped and my BMI is only 31 so I don't qualify for the gastric sleeve I'm scared to take out my lap and I don't want to get back up to 280 again. Has anybody ever been approved for the sleeves with a low BMI? Can I live with a slipped band? Help!! Ty!!

How long ago did you get yours?

I got my Lapband in 2008 and I Almost died last year so now I'm looking into revision also my lap and aspirated into my left lung and caused my left long to start collapsing ... I spent three weeks in ICU I don't wish the Lapband on anybody....

Last year I almost died from my Lapband aspirating into my lung... I spent 3 weeks in ICU... I got a complete unfill and I still get sick on a daily basis.. How can I get my insurance to pay for a revision? I been banded since 2008 and I feel like this band is going to kill me! ????

Becareful... sometimes they say the fills are included and the actual office visit is not... I paid 17,500 for surgery with a year of lapband fills but the office visit was $110 so i actually paid $110 for fills... now that im over 1 yr out... i pay $110 for Office Visit and $150 for fills... so thats $260 a fill !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was upset with Dr Teng and his staff over money in the past... but i have to say i am VERY HAPPY with my results from my lapband... he is very strict... but thats what we need!!!

How does that liquid prenatal taste? I think im gonna get a complete unfill so i might be fine with pills... If im too hungry i might get a little fill.... Im TTC... using a fertility monitor... so i should be preggo mid Dec 09... it worked the 1st month with my son... so im hoping it will happen fast again this time around!!:confused:

Im usually tighter right away ... then after a couple days and the swelling goes down its not so tight... I didnt get restriction til fill #2...

My DR gave me like a lifetime supply of things to stick up my butt if i ever get to that point hahahaha They work!!
