I have read that a growling tummy does not mean your hungry only that you are digesting food. But, I have also heard that a growling tummy does mean your hungry.. anyone know for sure what it really means?? johnette

hi guys, what awesome results.. I was banded sept 21 2005 almost 3 weeks out, I have lost 30 pounds I wonder if i am eatting enough. I am always hungry but make sure i never eat more than 2 oz of food at a time. and usually only eat 3-4 times a day.. I am on mushies and Soups. I am scared to death i will over eat and cause my band to slip or pouch to explode johnette

i was banded in TJ by doctor verboonen and ponce de leon of obesity goodbye . The facility was clean, i never felt in any danger.even tho it was atiquated by us standards. I didnt think to ask about the actual surgery tools! fingers crossed on that one, im 31/2 weeks post op and the sites look fine. I am a respiratory therapist and yes you can sterialize rubber, we used to all the time using cidex and metrazone. You cant plastic which most of our modern supplies are made out of. I still would not want a reused cath tho ick! johnette

If anyone needs a scale that goes higher than the standard ones, I have a digital scale that goes to 550 which i got from ebay, with shipping it costs about 70-75.00. a little steep but it works well for higher weights. johnette
