  1. Any November 23 surgery dates? There's a great October Facebook secret group. Is there a November one?

  6. Hi! I haven't been able to take off my wedding rings in about 2 or 3 years. I have no problem with feeling in my finger, but sometimes it does give me a panicky feeling. Anyway, I was told I can't wear jewelry during surgery, and it didn't even occur to me about my wedding rings. I'll be asking the surgeon about it, but does anyone have any insight before then? Is the no jewelry policy just for security sake? On another note, I can't WAIT to be able to take them on and off!!!

  9. Totally get it!! Maybe my post came out wrong. I'm also fat active! I have an amazing husband and two beautiful daughters, I have more true friends than should be allowed for one person. I travel all the time and live a very busy life! I haven't let my weight stop me from doing anything (except fit on some rides) and I'm very happy with myself. Interestingly, at 322lbs, I'm happier with myself now than I was in my weight loss days of 160lbs. I owe that to 3 years of therapy working on body issues that no amount of weight loss will ever fix. Maybe I mean that "hold on" thought for people that don't know me well, or don't know about this 39 year journey I've had with my weight. It's more like... "Yeah, I know how I look! Hold on... Because soon my outside will match my inside." Does that make sense?

  12. YES! YES! YES!!! All of this! Every. Single. One.
  13. I feel like I want to scream that to everyone! Like, "Just wait, everything's gonna change in a couple months. I know I look gross. I know I don't fit in that chair. I know I'm not healthy! Just hit the pause button! I'll be there soon!" Does anyone else want to hit the pause button on life until your surgery comes!?!?!
  14. And @meganliz0284... Everything you wrote is the same with me!!! With probably some extra last suppers added on.
  15. I have my appointment with the surgeon on the 13th. I'll get my November date then. I cannot WAIT!!
