I started the journey in August, and only had to have nutritional class, psych eval, pap, endoscopy and esophageal motility. I had all appointments taken care of in Sept then had to wait for Nov 25 for the gastrologist appts. So finally I had the esophageal mobility 2 weeks ago and that was horrible..lol and after calling every day to find out if there was any cancelations I got an appt for 12/22 for the endoscopy! After that it's just the insurance and surgery!! I just hope that since it took me 2 months to get an apt with the sleeve Dr it won't take that long for the surgery date...

My sister had a baby by c-sec in March, and they told her that sometimes when your too overweight they can't find the spine to do the spinal block and after four tries ended up using anesthesia by iv to sleep. So in July/August she started experiencing mass hair loss, she was literally balding around her hairline. I could see skin! Then I told her about reading on here that some say it's because off the anesthesia and just like others have reported in Oct she had little baby hairs filling in the bald spots!! It looked as if she had sprayed her scalp!! Lol

Lol I know how you feel I've had everything checked off my list since the end of Sept. But this apt was scheduled in the beginning of Sept for Nov 25.....ahh

Mine asked simple questions, he did ask how my childhood was, if my parents were together.... But he didn't probe into it so i kept it simple, good but they are divorced now... I didn't go into all the details of who why how or when... Lol The questionnaire I did was finish the sentences, about 50 of them like "I feel happen when.., I get anxiety thinking about.."., I randomly finished about 20... He didn't seem to care..

Mine didn't request the 6 month diet, but they did say that after Jan it could be a new requirement...

My surgeon wanted egd, pap, nut class, psych eval... But because of the limited Drs who take medical the egd was sched in August for a appt for nov 25... So basically I have everything done but that..hopefully it goes well and can be submitted soon after that!

Lol yes! I tried to make the initial consult in June and my appt wasn't until mid August.... Now I'm just waiting on the egd appt which isn't until nov 25... Lol figures that would be my luck, to have another appt that takes 3 months!! I'm ready, I just have to be patient..✌

I'm going through ALSA in Fresno, CA and I will go to Fresno heart and surgery center, but Clovis community is a really nice hospital, I've only been to the er and maternity ward though...

This reminds me of a time I was doing a low carb diet, and I had a container of them on the counter and my roommates new gf had quiet a few she later told me..... I'm not sure there relationship was ready for that!!!

What I .was saying was I'm not on any supervised diet but my apt for the egd isn't until Nov 25..... All my other preops are out of the way. So now I wait...

I'm new here and still in the pre-op process, I was just wondering if anyone knew about imitrex, is that allowed post-op?
