  2. i used to think PMS was a myth but then I got to my late 30's and discovered the struggle is real and I feel sorry for my family.
  3. It seems like it takes forever. I have my last Nut visit on the 13th then I meet with the surgeon and its submitted to the insurance company. I'm hoping for early December. I'm down about 5 lbs which is not much but there hasn't been a gain so that's all that matters. I'm so nervous, scared and ready. It's like a roller coaster.
  4. Amen! I think I have posted that a few times... Tall boots.. Can't wait.
  5. hi ! I will send you a PM with my email address and you can add me on my fitness pal. Great tool. 13 days till my last NUT visit and I will get my surgeon appointment that day. So hoping they can work me in the following week to send my paperwork off to insurance approval. I am ready I can't wait. I have read Aetna is taking about a week to approve so I'm hoping for first week in December. How nice would it be to be 20 lbs lighter by New Years.
  6. Tuesday I was sad today I'm raging.... Grr but still not cheating. I could hit someone I'm so irritated. I'm hungry and irritable I believe that's called Hangry... ** disclaimer I'd never hit anyone
  7. Too funny tucked in your pants! You look fabulous. ????
  8. you don't have a lot of loose skin how did you manage that.. You look great btw... I'm jelly
  9. I can't compare myself to you but today I think I had a taste of the what is to come. I was miserable with an extreme case of PMS and my bf upset me I cried.. Was sad but stuck to my diet. It sucked
  10. i passed my psych a few weeks ago... Day 4 of logging all my food and behaving!!! Today I'm actually starving but held strong. Glad you passed your psych too! whats MKE? Sorry I'm not good with abbreviations?
  11. I'm sorry for your loss as well. I did my cardiac clearance already. I am so ready! I am on a three day streak of eating right. That's actually the longest I have gone in a while. I'm hoping to lose about 15 lbs before surgery, but I can't lose more than 20 I have to keep my BMI over 40.
  12. Hang in there the waiting does suck and it's much like a roller coaster. My next appointment is Nov 13, tick tock.
  13. You look great, can I ask how old you are and how tall you are?
  14. I am also using my fitness pal, I have used it for a few years it works last time I logged regularly and was exercising I got down to 200 lbs. my mom died in April and I'm back up to 240. But that's a big reason for the surgery I want to live... For my kids and for me. Watching her die from cancer killed me I want to live long and healthy for them. ... Jealous over the jr frosty... Lol
  15. That is great, I'm hoping for Dec 2nd surgery in just waiting... Waiting is so hard. I go thru days I'm completely on track and then I eat like I'm never going to again. It's hard I know that I need to change my habits and that is the hardest part ever... You sound like your doing amazing. My first weigh it was 240 in August and I'm now 237.. Woo hoo this weekend we shopped to eat healthy all week and made a meal plan for the whole week. Fingers are crossed for a completely positive week.
  16. I have a prescription for Xaynex and I told the shrink at my psych evaluation. I told her how often I take them and why, she said its fine. I am sure your Drs know your medical history and if the even suspected a problem with the anxiety meds you wouldn't have gotten recommended for surgery. Don't stress... Kinda odd to say in a topic about anxiety!
  17. I was so happy to read this I also have Aetna what a quick turn around! I'll have all my paper work submitted November 21... Yeah!
  18. I have Aetna it is covered I am paying about $5000. Out of pocket. Would I wait if I could save $6000.... Maybe. My mind is made up and I am ready but it's $6000 and I'm a single mom of 3. If you can afford to do it go for it!!!
  19. I have looked for the gender only rooms I guess I can't see them because I only use my phone. I replied to something earlier today and after I got the feeling it was a guys only topic... Oops what do you do it was in my timeline!
