  1. No we drove home the day after surgery, I flew up for my initial appointment and egd. I don't think I could have flown home after surgery. We stopped every hour so i could walk around. I actually have a work trip where I will be flying on the 21st of September. I am a little nervous, but I feel better every day.
  2. No hotel discount, but it was pretty cheap since it was on a Tuesday.
  3. My first appointment was in July, had surgery on September 8. I only stayed in a hotel the day we left the hospital after surgery. I flew in for my EGD and was able to have my blood work, ekg and sleep study local. I used Nicholson. They didn't tell me we needed to stay after surgery but the PA told me after surgery. They are really great and worked with me so well. Good luck.
  4. I know I need to be walking more, but I am so tired. I still have pain on my left side. I have felt better today than any other day. No nausea today. Was able to get all my protein in today, and close to getting my water. Do you feel hungry at all? I don't but read that is normal.
  5. How's it going? Anyone else have surgery around the same time? I have yet to sleep in my bed. I had hernia repair and sleeve.
  6. My total cost for everything, EGD, sleep study, surgery was only $1,450. I planned for around $3,000 to be on the safe side.
  7. I am from out of town 7 plus hours. I also went the hernia route. Had surger y on 9-8-15. They were awesome and worked with me on everything.
