  1. I'm 5 weeks p/o and I was cleared to start exercising at 6 weeks...what to do? Besides walking, what else can I do to try to tone up? Any suggestions
  2. Seems like I'm reading something I would have posted...I'm 37 days p/o 32lbs down and my eating/drinking habits suck! Im still learning as well. Seems like the only things my stomach agrees with are things I shouldn't have...in desperate need of some great food tips
  3. Hey everyone.....quick question. Is the unflavored protein powder really "unflavored"? I'm an extremely picky eater and all protein powders/shakes are absolutely disgusting to me. I heard about the unflavored powder through here....anybody tried it? If so....what did it taste like?
  4. My appt to see my NUT is not till the 24th....hopefully she'll have some good suggestions
  5. Hey everyone....This Friday will make 3 weeks post for me and I'm almost positive I'm not reaching or anywhere near my goal for protein intake. My pallet is strange so protein shakes/powders are a no go for me. I can't stand the taste of any of them! What's a girl to do? My diet as of now still consists of full liquids/ clears I tried to advance but my tummy is not up for that yet. It takes me like two while days to drink 1 bottle of water....is anyone else having these issues? I feel I dunno I guess "behind"..
  6. @ @"glitter eyes" thanks for that advice....I'll try that and see what happens
  7. I've tried Premiere... Strawberry flavor and it was not for me.. I really liked Core Powers Banana flavor but it was loaded with sugar, calories etc. So finally I tried the Advanced Edge (EAS) chocolate.... And it seems to be tolerable as far as taste goes. @@BeccaLayne1959
  8. Hey you guys! Today makes 18 days post-op for me....I'm still having a tough time with getting things down at this point. Not so much as being nauseous, but more pain as the liquids try to digest I guess? So far I'm 27lbs down. Me and the protein shakes are not getting along...lol. I hate em their gross. Any suggestions on ways to get protein in besides shakes/powder?
  9. Thanks you guys for the replies.... I hope every thing gets better...when I called the doc....well the nurse she too gave me the advice just to back down to clears....but even water hurts but only time will tell. I'll keep ya posted.
  10. Hi everyone! I'm Tina from Ga. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that's s having the same issues as me. I am 17 days postop and I am having a tough time...nothing seems to agree my stomach... I mean nothing I have a tough time with water. Currently down 27 lbs. Every time I drink or eat anything I get this intense pain in my stomach that's lasts for a few minutes. I'm currently on a blenderized diet which for me consists of yogurt, soups....and that's about it. And half the time those are non tolerable. Anyone else having this issue?
