  2. Sleeved on the 17th as well. I purchased small cups and I've been sipping out of them. A lot of gas but I am urinating a lot so I know I'm getting in fluids. Chest pain is kinda bad and every time I take my pain meds I feel like I want to vomit. I'm praying it gets better.
  3. Had surgery Thursday and this gas is a killer. I'm worried about not getting enough fluids because I don't want nothing because of the gas. I literally have to force myself.

  6. I have preferred blue (PAI) of SC. Everyone I know was approved but I'm nervous.
  7. Is that PAI? I have the same insurance
  8. My psych evaluation was very short but intense. He asked lots of questions pertaining to why I wanted the surgery, what I loved and hated abut myself, family history, he asked about tragedies that may have happened throughout life. It was very intense. You never want to go into the evaluation telling them you want surgery just to look good. There has to be a more sensible reason like you want to live a healthy life for your children and be around to watch them grow up. I never mentioned my looks not even once. Good luck!
  9. I feel your pain! I started my liquid diet Thursday and yesterday I cheated. I feel horrible!!!!!!!! ????

  13. This is why I kept my surgery to myself. I only told 3 people, they support me and encourage me every step of the way. My date is set for the 17th. Stay encouraged and if this is something you want, then go for it!
  14. @@pindoctor I'm in the same boat. Scheduled for the 17th. Waiting for my psych to be sent to my bariatric doctor so they can send all the info to my insurance. I was told my insurance company only takes a couple days to approve so I should be fine but I started pre op diet today. ???? went pretty good.
  15. Oh no! Don't be ashamed. I started pre op today and it was rough! Liquid diet (very strict) I did add vegetables to my broth because I was so hungry. The entire day I just thought "if I stick to this diet, my surgery will be even more successful". I was told this process helps he liver to shrink and preps you for you after surgery process. You will be fine! Praying for you! I'm scheduled for the 17th of this month. ???? Any suggestions of already made shakes with high protein and not so expensive ????
  16. My schedule is scheduled for September 17th. My insurance is PAI. They don't require 3 month monitoring or a sleep study. I did have to get the psych done, take behav mod class, see a dietician and get surgical clearance. I just started my preop diet today and it was kinda tough with just being in liquids but I'm determined! My birthday is September 12th so HBD to me!
