  1. I was sleeved on Sept 10, 2015 ...well at least that's what I was told. I have the scars and even felt some discomfort in my stomach lacerations. 2 night hospital stay and all. Here's why I'm questioning if surgery was done. I had little to no pain after surgery. It felt more like discomfort. Lots of gas. I was able to walk and continue to walk every two hours while in the hospital no problem. Since my surgery I have not experienced ANY of the issues I have read about. I have been able to get 64 ounces of fluids in daily since my surgery. Protein shakes..no problem. Today I introduced meats. I was able to eat 3 ounces chewing 30 to 40 times of course during the course of 30 minutes. I was able to get in 3 ounces of sugar free pudding while still getting in my Water with absolutely no feeling of fullness or discomfort. Now. I do not plan to push it and do more than 2 servings of meat and 2 servings of shakes a day but I will slowly increase as time goes on. So has anyone else experience symptom free after being sleeved or should I call my doctor and ask for proof she performed surgery???

    My Doctor faked my surgery!

Honey no whinning here. I do jabe a problem when they are negative post just like your post. It's supposed to be a site where people support people not voice their negative unwarranted opinions about something trivial as a title. Bullies are everywhere.

Thank you and you hit it right on the nose. My surgeon did an excellent job. I was totally being sarcastic.

    My Doctor faked my surgery!

I was feeling the same way. I started regular foods (chewing 30 times or more) so I didn't have to pureed 2 days early. I can eat full snack size pudding in one setting. I can also get 3 ounces of chicken or turkey in. Yes, I am with you on taking it slow so I only try eating twice a day and still drink my Protein Shakes and Protein drinks for the other two meals. Keep up the good work and thanks for replying to my thread appropriately.

    My Doctor faked my surgery!

Yes, In my opinion these are unhappy people and there is nothing you can do about it. They do not have to post anything, clearly they can exit the thread at anytime if they do not like what they read.

    My Doctor faked my surgery!

Except this is a terrible inflammatory title. You have your surgeons name in your profile and you are accusing them of malpractice. Really!!!! Malpractice from a title. The point is to read the blog which clearly does not suggest she didn't perform my surgery. And so you are aware since i seems my point is not being taken by you and Emma, I said the same thing to my doctor when I had my post op about her actually doing surgery. Please move on or skip the thread if you have nothing better to reply or better yet nothing better to do than to scrutinize the title of my thread. Thanks to all the others who understood what I was writing and not take things to an entire different level than what the title was meaning.

    My Doctor faked my surgery!

The only opinion I ask was if anyone else was lucky not to have issues. Not anything about my post title adding question marks, etc. Those NEGATIVE opinions based on assumption. In my opinion, you didn't need to respond if you weren't answering my question at the end. As a blog site owner, we all know that great post titles are the way to get people to read and reply. I appreciate everyone's feedback that there's it hers who had a successful recovery with no issues.

    My Doctor faked my surgery!

In a sense I'm joking. I'm pretty sure my surgeon performed the surgery. My expectation about the aftermath was a lot worse than I experienced. The way things seemed during all the classes and even talking to other sleevers..I was going to wish I never had it done because of pain, nausea, vomitung, not able to get fluids in, etc. Total opposite!!!! Yes. I'm blessed and happy to know others had good success as well.

    My Doctor faked my surgery!

Great. Sounds like I got lucky. The horror stories had me really on my toes about everything and when I didn't get not one issue I starting really wondering. Thanks for the input. I guess I should shut up and be thankful..lol
  12. Hello, I had surgery in September 10th. So far so good. Getting all my Water requirements in with no issues. I have been fortunate to not even experience any nausea and vomiting. Other than some soreness in my incision sites, I am pleased with my recovery. I am still taking it very slowly t make sure I am giving my body time to heal and get 100%. Only issue is being able to pass as much gas as I would like to but its coming (TMI) I know once that is gone I will feel much much better. So far I am happy with my decision and my Surgeon is the best. I hope everyone else is having as much success. Good Luck!!

    Throwing up?

I was sleeved on September 10th and I have not had to nausea or vomiting either. I know it has only been 4 days but I have heard many people experienced some nausea and vomiting during the first week. I am taking it very slow. Drinking on ounce of Water 4 to 5 times in an hour. The sugar free popsicles definitely are refreshing. I am hoping that I do not experience any nausea/vomiting at all.
