  1. Hate to break it to you but espresso is more concentrated than regular coffee. Depending on how it's made. That's pro b ably why your heart is racing and you are jittery. Massive caffeine overload. Switch to decaf if you are.loomibg for something hot or even tea. Goodluck.

  6. I feel your pain about eating at night. My hubby works nights and when my stepson was working nights. I was home alone with the tv and refrigerator!!!! Not a good combo. Thankfully I am getting out of the habit of staying up late watching tv which has helped the grazing. Good luck with your diabetes.

  12. Ren Koss. I think we have to view this as life change and not a quick fix. I know personally I am working on training my brain that I won't be able to eat or drink certain things. But at the same time I am wanting to have that "final" meal. It's a bit of a mental battle. I lost a few and given in....but I have won more than I've lost. LOL. And the ones that I lost to...it really wasn't worth it. Didn't taste as good as what I had thought. Karma??? Lol
  13. HI Cendella170. I am in delaware as.well. I have done all the medical testing and am just going to do is 1 more Nutrition class then .take the life.classes. have been blessed off by all the drs. Found out I have sleep apnea (not really a surprise ) and asthma and now low protein and low iron. Can't wait for clearance and a surgery date.
  14. I had my scope I think it's called end or something good. I was fine. No side affects or anything. And actually felt quite rested lol. Check with your dreams about your meds. And good luck

  16. Dar 200. That's exactly how I feel. I battle with myself to not eat junk. I have thrown out.the pretzels....but my stepson likes chips and I can't deny him. He and my husband are preparing themselves for the big change coming in the cupboards. LOL. They.may.come sooner than expected. Will be on steroids thru the end of the year. I do fine during the day. But when I am home aline at night...it's like some starving lunatic.takes.over.

  19. So did the sleep study and yep sleep apneA. Which the hubby is like...told you so. Not.in a mean way but super glad I finally got.tested. now he can sleep better knowing I won't quit breathing 100 times per hour. Went and did the pulmonary test and now the doc thinks I have asthma. Have always had horrible allergies but never tested for.asthma. so now I have inhalers to boot. LOL. So glad I am having all these tests...... but I have always been healthy aside from.my weight. But the pulmonologist did clear me for surgery and commented that most of these issues will probably go away after i lose weight. Now for the cardiologist.

  21. I am getting so frustrated. I am taking steroids for an eye issue. Been in them since March and doing a slow taper off if them. But I keep gaining weight. 40 lbs so far. Made a special appt with the NUT and that was a waste of time. Drink more water. Stop all soda and caffeine. Eat smaller portions. Duh!!!! My mind is working overtime on the weight gain that I can't focus on redirecting towards better choices. Uu Ok thanks for letting me vent

  28. So does the doctors office submit everything and request approval from the insurance company?
  29. Dream4TC My Moose is 7 years old at the end of the month. He is my awesome buddy. What kind of dogs do you have? I think its fantastic that your husband is so very supportive thru all of your adventures. I have an appt. with the nutritionist one on one so maybe she can explain the after care a little more. I have to take 3 life classes that must cover all the Protein and after care as well. I passed the psych eval and had my sleep test last night. and surprise surprise I have Sleep Apnea so now I have to get a Cpap machine. Oh well. I figured I had it, but you can always hope. But quite honestly I am very healthy aside from this and I feel very blessed in this.
