  1. I had surgery September 28th. I was home the next day. The gas pains are the worst! Make sure you are stocked up on gas-x because you will need it. Walking helps alot! I was in quite a bit of pain after surgery. They brought me to my room and I just could not get comfortable in the bed because of all the gas pains, I had to get up and walk immediately
  2. I had to register at 8:15, I went back and got prepped. I got taken back for the surgery around 10:10. I was in my room by 1pm. I remember waking up in recovery and then unhooking me from stuff and be saying it hurts, they gave me meds for the pain and I slowly started waking up. The first day was rough, but it does get better. Walk as much as you are allowed. I was brought into my room and almost immidately got up to walk because I was so uncomfortable
  3. I got discharged today. I am home now. The gas pains are the worst part. Today is better than yesterday though
  4. I guess we are all on the same about staying busy cleaning lol. Good luck with your surgeries
  5. I started clear liquids yesterday
  6. I'm on a clear liquid diet, so no pudding or anything you cant see through. I'm starving lol
  7. Yes. I'm feeling the same way. I've stopped researching. I planned a busy day for tomorrow to keep my mind off of it
  8. I drink the Pre made Atkins shakes. They were recommended by my surgeon
  9. What is everyone eating for their liquid diet...or drinking rather
  10. Had anyone had an abnormal ekg during their preop testing?

  14. Yes. I lost 25. I actually wasn't mad I had to do it. You should have to prove your really want it as its an entire life change
  15. Are you on a lot of medications? Rny has a longer recovery time. You should ask why she is pushing your towards the sleeve. I asked my surgeon his opinion. I went with RNY, which is what I was leaning towards to begin with. He thought RNY was best for me
  16. I was required to lose 15 lbs during my 6 month diet
  17. They go by your starting weight . Your BMI can go below 40. They only look at your starting weight and that you lost what they wanted during the supervised diet
