I Want To See Before & After Pics! (Cont'd)
Hi everyone- just an update... I’m still doing very well maintaining after 2 years. I did gain 20 lbs back but that’s from working from home, vacationing, snacking during the holidays, and drinking. It’s much easier for me to lose weight now. I can eat about 3-4 oz depending on what so eat. I still always eat my Protein first and my bad carbs last. I take my Vitamins religiously and drink lots of Water. My life is very happy and I’m still so glad with the choice I made for my life. Having no gallbladder has also been an easy transition. I’m between a size 10-12 and although I gained weight, all my clothes still fit. Exercise is what I’m lacking because I work from home now and have been working at 430am. That’s been making me tired. Happy New Year... and Ill try to keep posting my updates as best as I can! Hope everyone is doing well...

Here is an old picture of me from 2008. I am 2 lbs away from this weight. Its been a great week of receiving compliments. Ive had so many people tell me how beautiful I am and tell me that they see that Ive lost weight. When I was this weight, I didnt get a whole lot of compliments but now this time around... I am. It really feels nice getting compliments. Im not a person that seeks attention nor will I ever be but was always the beautiful "heavy" friend that everyone loved. Now, Im the beautiful friend that everyone compliments. It's a great feeling. I will post a current picture when I have someone to take a pic of me. Im horrible at selfies. Im 40 lbs from meeting my goal weight!

I had the Gastric Sleeve surgery on January 6, 2016. I have lost a total of 25 pounds in a month. It feels great to have this much weight gone and I am looking forward to more weight loss as the days go by.

@mbig. I had mine done on Jan 6. Im down 25 lbs. It was great losing that much in a month. It took me 4 to 5 months to lose 25 before and it never stayed off. It was hard to hit my target for protein too. I finally hit 80 grams of protein 2 days ago. However, Im not sure how accurate that really is because I never finish my food. Just keep trucking on your liquids and your protein. It will be an everyday thing for the rest of your life. Look into Isopure drinks. They will give you protein and liquid oz. At the same time. One bottle is about $4.59 pricey but you get 40grams of Protein. I get them from The Vitamin Shoppe and you can order them online cheaper by the case at www.bodybuilding.com. Good Luck

@@hmf005 - nice work. Can I ask you a question.... did you have a stall at your first 25 lbs? If so... do you remember how to get pass the stall or how long it took the stall to move?

What surgery did you have? What complications, may I ask? P.S. your arms are Amazing! Thanks for the compliment on my arms...it's funny though, I think that's my worst feature, lots of excess skin...I think that might have just been great photography! Lol! Anyways my complications are almost too many to list: large hematoma with drain tube one week after sleeve surgery, severe reflux and GERD, 3 strictures with dilations, 2 hiatal hernias needing surgery, a myelotomy surgery, revision to bypass surgery, central line put in for TPN, then finally 2 weeks ago a jejunostomy feeding tube put in for nutrition. Whew! Nails by Niki - thats unreal!! Was this or majority of all your complications due to the sleeve surgery? Im so sorry youve had so many different things happening to you.- Before and After Pics
