  1. I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? I'm one week out and I have the worst pain lower left of my belly button. It's a searing pain that feels like something is ripping. I normally tolerate pain very well, but once this pain catches it stops me in my tracks. If so how long did this lay before you felt better??? Everything else is perfect.
  2. Sugar free popsicles and beef broth is the only reason I made it through. I didn't have a pickle allowance, but I made one for myself LOL, a lil pickle juice every night did the trick.
  3. I'm a week out and I still can't sleep on my side. I was actually going to post the same question LOL.
  4. I ate all of those things without any trouble along with applesauce. My puree week went quickly, so I didn't needed to worry about much else. That along with your protein and liquid requirements should keep you busy lol.
  5. Research Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction
  6. My doc says 8oz a day is the limit, but to be honest I never even get close to that. I tried to give it up completely, but that left me with horrible headaches, so now I have a 2oz or so with some vanilla premier I'm it just to kick the headaches in the butt. I don't crave more yet, but I'm only 6 days out
  7. I would go for soup, b but if "the man" insists then fish with mashed potato sounds l like the next best option.
  8. I wonder if this is what's happening to me?!? I have a horrible pain inn my lower left side where they pulled my drain. I didn't think my drain was ready to come out, but the doc assured me my numbers were going down and that the body would absorb what was left. The pain is fine when I'm laying on my back, but if I try and sit up it's a searing, catch my breath kind!
  9. My surgery date is quickly approaching. I'm excited, nervous, scared!!! I'm excited to finally after a long year of appointments be this close to my actual date. Nervous of having a major surgery. Mostly I'm scared of what my life will be like without the food that I obviously love so much. I recently had a lot of stress I'm my life and gained back 30lbs of the 60lbs I had lost. Thinking back to last month I don't know what I would have done without food. How do "normal" people deal with stress??? I eat when I'm stressed. I eat when I'm happy. We celebrate with food. Most social function revolves around food! We need it to live and I defiantly live for it. This is something I want, but knowing there will never be a "cheat" day is a little daunting. Knowing that I'll never be able to go back is both exciting and terrifying.
