  3. Some of my favs when I really want something sweet are sugar free hot chocolate and sugar free choc pudding with a little bit of a crushed up pb protein bar in it. Yummy!
  4. Im 3 months out from surgery. Ive been taking biotin since the week after my surgery. Luckily I havent lost any hair yet although im prepared for it. I saw my dr last week and she was discouring me from taking it. She said it can interfere with the effect of the other vitamins and that if im going to loose my hair than im going to loose it and the biotin wont help. Has anyone else heard this because ive read so many posts about biotin helping out alot. I have also heard that once you stop loosing so fast your hair loss will stop.
  5. This is my first challenge! CW 163 GW 143
  6. Congratulations!! All your hard work paid off!! You look amazing!!
  7. I had my surgery on my 47th birthday! It was the best gift I could have ever given myself!!
  8. Thanks for all the great suggestions! I guess my main problem is not having my Water with me at all times. i like the ideas of having water bottles in different areas like my car and different rooms in my house. Im excited to try this out tomorrow! Wow Dub over 100oz not even a week out of surgery! Thats impressive!!
  9. i would love to hear how everyone manages to get all their Water in. i struggle daily to get 32oz in. i do it but i find myself usually at the end of the night trying to drink the last 8oz before bed. its not that i dont like liquids i just either forget about drinking or it ends up being too close to my meal times so i cant drink. Any tips would be really helpful. Ive read posts on here that some people drink 64oz or more! i cant even imangine drinking that much although i would love too!
  10. I used to love love love crystal light. It was all I ever drank now I cant drink it at all. Even watered down its way too sweet! I used to like pasta and would eat it at least 4 times a week but now I have no desire at all for it which is a great thing! The best thing is I used to hate fish and now I think its delicious!
  11. You can call bariatric advantage and have them send you free samples to try. Its worth it. I like the orange and carmel the best.
  12. I am almost 3 months out from having the sleeve. The strange embarrassing noises from the throat happen to me too. I think I figured it out that it seems to happen only if I eat too fast. Burping definitely makes it stop but it can be really hard to burp. Other things that surprised me were how good I felt after. I was tired but not in any pain. how hard it was and still is to get all my water in. I struggle to get in 32oz! how I used to hate water. All I drank was crystal light and now I like water and cant drink crystal light at all because it tastes way too sweet. the last and best thing is how I dont crave any of the bad foods like pizza, Chinese food, and sweets. I thought I would feel sad and deprived not to be able to eat these things if others around me were enjoying them but I dont at all! I have no desire to want to eat these foods that I used to love. My family ate Chinese food the other night and I actually had to go in the other room because the smell was making me feel sick! I used to LOVE Chinese food!
  13. I haven't did it yet! Lol. It's still in the freezer! Maybe tomorrow! I have to get courageous! what kind did you get? Let us know how you liked it! Good luck!
  14. Rember to just take it slow. I was the same way in the beginning. Its scary! Im still nervous with each new stage or when I try a new food. The only times ive had an uncomfortable feeling is when I ate too fast. So just go slow and im sure you will be just fine.
  15. How are you doing in the blended stage? My hardest struggle was and actually still is getting all my water in! Im just barely getting 32oz down! I used to love crystal light but it tastes too sweet for me now. Its so strange how your tastes change!
  16. Well I I finally did it! I ate fish! And..... I liked it!! I still cant beleive I actually liked it but im so glad because its so healthy!! My friend had me over for dinner and cooked me cod. She put salt, pepper and lemon on it and baked it. It didnt taste fishy at all! Im going to stick with cod for a while and then try a different kind. Thanks again for the many suggestions and recipes!!
  17. Thanks to everyone for all the great fish suggestions and ways to cook it! So many choices! I really liked someones idea of trying it out at a resteraunt first so I dont waste it. Wish me luck!!
  18. Hi anna I had my surgery on Aug 10. I also had the sleeve. i have lost a total of 47 lbs! 20 of it before surgery Im feeling great. When was your surgery? I would love to chat and share experiences with you.
  19. Ok this is a really strange question! I hate fish! ive always been repulsed by any kind of seafood at all! I had the sleeve almost 2 months ago and for some STRANGE reason my body wants fish!! So my questions are... Is this uncommon? not sure why i would even want to try something i dislike so much And does anyone have any suggestions on which fish i should try? probably the least fishy tasting. I dont even know how to cook fish so any recipe ideas would be great too! Thanks!!
  20. I know how you feel wagyu. I've been 170 for 2 1/2 weeks now! im starting to get a little obsessive with the scale which i dont want to be. I think i will change up my exercise routine a little. Maybe that will help. Good luck to you!
  21. This sounds delicious! Im going to try it with 2 TBS of chocolate premier Protein drink instead of the milk. I will let everyone know how it comes out
