  2. I was only given ice chips at the hospital and started protein shakes today, on the third day.
  3. My surgery was on the 25th and I am on the same diet ad Gail mentioned. It was also stressed that you get enough water in. Sipping all day. There weren't any limits to amounts. I was on clear liquids until today and I added protein shakes. Hope this helps.

  7. You know. I have a similar past as you. I had a vbg in 2003 and found out I was pregnant when they did it. So I had a bad pregnancy. Anyway I managed to lose 100 lbs through 3 pregnancies and after 12 years of vomiting everyday. I have to have a rny. Which will be on the 25th. I was dilated 3 times and had my pouch cleaned out twice. I am 20 lbs shy of hitting the bmi as well but I am going to have it done because I can't live like this anymore
