  5. It's normal u haven't been eating solid food. But u might want to try warm tea,Fiber gummies or milk of magnesium. I had my first bowl movement about 5-7 days out. My doctor had me start the fiber gummies after the 3rd day. Hope this helps u Good luck.
  6. My first fill experience was good no pain just a little pinch. My doctor did not use anesthesia. I was standing up in front of an X-ray machine while he filled my band while I was drinking some white nasty liquid. Anyways I could see everything thru a monitor my band my port and the liquid going in. It was actually really cool. He put in 1.8cc's. When he was done I felt dizzy and fainted for 5 min super embarrassing.!! The dr. said that it happens sometimes. After that I felt great. So I guess clear liquids for the next 48hrs. I already feel restriction when I drink yay! . Please let me know if anyone else feels dizzy, nauseated, or has fainted when u get a fill??

  11. Hi and congrats, I had the lap band done July 25,2015 and the first 2 weeks were the hardest with the gas, constipation and being able to find a comftable sleeping position. The trick is to walk as much as u can and release all that gas. I had the gas pain on my shoulder 4 days after surgery it maid me cry. But just keep walking thru the pain if u get it. Gas x strips help as well. This Saturday will be 4 weeks and I have lost 30lbs. Take it one day at a time. Wish u a fast recovery good luck (:
